As we all know, prior to the 2016 election, Lana never commented to the public on anything political or on any issues bigger than herself. Having Trump as president probably urged her to take on this role of an artist to be a reflection of the sign of the times. I am a firm believer in pop culture being a medium from which we can learn so much about things like politics or even things like fashion, sexuality, religion, etc. Lana probably is aware of this, and being the true artist that she is, she may feel passionate about using music as a forum to communicate and draw ideas. The V Mag interview with Stevie Nicks implies this role as an artist that she takes on.

I honestly think she might consider doing it, she's really outspoken.

And she'd be the first female president, if she wins! Iconic

I no longer would want Lana to do the James Bond theme, because in a trump World
James Bond is misogynist and abusive to women.
    It's a new world now
and Lana should be Bond, not be subservient to Bond.

The next Bond should not be male.

Would more hope for a Maleficent 2 soundtrack brand new song

even more so, a brand new animated film doing the whole score.

Yeah, I mean, knowing Lana, she's always writing, but with Zane she said something about releasing a mixtape with Rocky or some other artists and touring before she releases a record.

I feel like the next era will introduced in a Paradise - Ultraviolence situation where she has a last leg for the LFL tour while she releases the first single for LDR6, like she did with West Coast while she was touring for Paradise in NA.

UPDATE: I made a complete vinyl and art prints concept for what I imagine MATD4 to be like. Would you like this?

Thank you! I actually don't listen to Kylie Minogue, so it wasn't deliberately inspired by her aesthetic for that record but it's really cool and I can definitely see the similarities between the two.

The pictures you included also remind me of some of the shots Neil Krug did for Bat for Lashes's record, The Bride.

I made this as a concept album cover for MATD4.
If it were going to be called "Aquamarina" or "Super Human"

I think it fits quite well, I'm really proud of it. Left it textless because I've always wanted a textless Marina cover. Hope you like it

I love it, cool idea! I think the colours are great! It kinda reminds me of Impossible Princess by Kylie Minogue, aesthetically.

I know it's premature to be thinking about the next record, but I wonder if LDR6 will be more acoustic/less mainstream in sound.

I think that the next record might be this way because Lana has said that LFL is a transitional record, one about change, and sonically, the album is a fusion of everything she's done with added elements of hip hop and the 50's/60's (the little drum pattern before Cherry's choruses, the "doo-wops" in the song LFL and Get Free); she's reminding us of we're we've been, and we're finally going to see where we're headed with LDR6, which kinda shows that 'solve et coagula' theme that we thought may run throughout the record. Releasing a record of unreleased tracks and using MissDaytona's twitter could also back this up.

Releasing BAR and Yosemite as stand-alone singles could perhaps bridge the sonic gap between LFL and LDR6 if it were to be more acoustic.

I believe Lana wanted to send out what we've come to know of her on a high, in a grandiose way with thematically classic LDR songs like Cherry, WM, etc., and by extending this era's length with lots of surprises and one-off shows,  but wanted to give a glimpse of what's going to come with political songs/songs that are more introspective, like Heroin, Change, and Get Free.

Regardless, I'm just very excited to see what's going to come, but I'm more than happy enough to enjoy LFL for the next while. Let's hope Lana goes blonde for LDR6

I really like this. I found that with "into the blue," she meant she was heading into the sea, a free place, like @SuperMegaStan said.
Lana has even hinted at this - back in November, she posted that Instagram video of her driving, captioning it "The sea is the last free place on Earth."

She was foreshadowing, in my opinion.
