To me, BBS is very conversational and stream of consciousness — especially the chaotic, somewhat bombastic, ending. I may be delulu because BBS is my favorite Lana song in awhile but I think an experimental, upbeat album in BBS style could do really well.

If she does intend on a surprise release with no singles or little promo, I would imagine that her team is going to push for a decent amount of “commercial” (or bombastic) tracks
 
This possibility is really interesting given that we already know **some** songs on this album will be wordy, conversational, and angry. Maybe we’ll get an album that’s a solid mix between almost spoken-poetry-style-songs and Cinnamon-Girl-esque bops 
 

 

Would be soooo exciting and amazing but even if she does digital only I see her announcing ahead and building hype via the traditional method (singles, mags, photos, etc) before dropping. I think the label would want some type of momentum if they were to let her do that.

Ben mentioning that the album is coming soon to Lana publicly is certainly fan-directed. 
 
I also feel like Lana following Rick Nowels is probably coincidental, but the old alleged screenshot confirming he’s working with Lana has me wondering if he’s worked on LDR9 or potentially a different project.

If she’s actually going through with this digital drop thing it really could come very soon like,, vinyl production is what made it take so long for her last albums to come out

A new song on the way and insiders still seem clueless... if she manages to put out the new track without anyone spilling I think we are getting our first "blind" era  (even though I expect at least the release date leaking like a week before unless Lana announces it early)

"There's no room for color". Watch her still name a track Blue Flames in California Burning Bright Red or something like that 

She probably just forgot to follow back Rick on the HM account 
But either way, didn't he kinda confirm working on LDR9 in some fans DMs? It was something like "are you working on new music with Lana?" and he responded with some emojis (like sparks? I can't remember). It could be fake but I vaguely remember that they also posted a screen recording to make clear they were real messages but maybe I'm mixing things and it was already confirmed fake sorry 
It could also just be an old song (leaked or maybe unheard).
I don't think there's a single Lana album that doesn't have at least 1 Rick track so I hope they don't break the streak now 

I highly doubt we'll get a summer release, but I really want one... If the album is still untitled, I think she's still working on the songs quite a bit, so I can't see a single or album release until fall, earliest.
Having a new Lana album to play all summer would be so much fun though...
