People going on about Charli in 2015, I saw Charli before Fancy, before Sucker. Literally just as she made True Romance, I saw her. It was chill. Atmosphere was cool. I met her, she was cute and nice. I left the venue all cool.
Mate, I see her in London a few weeks or whatever ago. People are vomiting, people are fainting from the heat, kids are passing out from drugs and alcohol, she’s screaming, I’m screaming, I’m this way, that way, upside down. I’m getting punched, I’m punching. I left that place drenched, SOAKED, in my own and other people’s sweat. That girl has created a monster of a fan base. She’s crossed over scene kids, klub kids, queens and queers and created pure EVIL.
Still loved it though.

There's no evidence of a contact with The Invisible Men, the label probably brought them in because Fancy was her biggest hit, and Charli being a songwriter, had no problem working with them. If they had a deal with them, why was Focus and GNO released? 5ITM is a pretty solid song, I know you all like her PC stuff but you really need to stop acting like anything not produced by SOPHIE or AG is trash, it really devalues her work. The released version of No Angel is the final version, not the original. It went from the Invisible Men, to additional SOPHIE production, and then back to the Invisible Men and Charli wrote a bridge. The original version of No Angel that we heard snippets in the early days of the google drive hack sounded completely different. The released version sounds closer to the SOPHIE version than the original. -
