Has anyone notice how Charlis vocal tone changes so much? 
 
pre TR: 
very Kate Bush vocals-if you listen to Jungle, gravity or electronique. 
 
post TR:
Very British accented, close to her speaking voice-nice high notes and falsetto. 
 
Sucker:
Very bratty and shouty, very Gwen Stefani and all melodies sound catchy In this voice. 
 
Post Sucker-before Pop 2: 
very feminine high pitched vocals, at times she almost does a Caribbeanish accent like in Boys, 3am. 

Pop 2- onwards:
high usage of auto tune. 
Vocals are very inspired by soundcloud rap-listen to the untuned version of if I cry for example. 
she incorporates a lot of fast paced melodic  verses which are almost rapped. 
very androgynous almost low vocals.
 
Crash: 
Falsetto is back but auto tune and the lower pitch vocals stay- see the verses on good ones and new shapes for the low pitch.

I’m not talking about the albums though, you are all misinterpreting what I mean-I’ll change the wording. 
 
Charli is an impactful melodist and songwriter, however she is NOT a producer or sound person and has not made any attempts to diversify her skill-set despite producing early demos. She is a highly intelligent individual and so I said I found it lazy. The same applies to her tour regime of cassette backing track and metal dancing with tune. 
Charli talks in interviews about women who are not recognised for their achievements and rightfully so, but I wonder why she cannot work towards expanding her skills in other areas like vocals, production. 
 
it would be nice if she could have some backing dancers and a band on tour-she has the money and time to tell a band the arrangements. 
 
 

I really don’t see why some of you are pressed over my comments but I’ll leave it at this-again I even clarified this was not related to the music but excuses at why she sometimes does not care about input. 
 
it is factual that people submit instrumentals for her to write over-she most definitely does try to find sonic similarities sub consciously and the overall sound is cohesive. This is all evidenced and documented. 

she does no longer strive for complete input.

Y'all can go on and on about "storylines" or "sonically this and that" but ctmp flops as the second track. Like, it in no universe has a second track vibe. Gno however could fit as either and therefore is the second track out of the two y'all's minds are so ugly..

Warm is perhaps one of her greatest songs lyrically and sonically and i’ve yet to see her top it. when you really listen to that song and take it in and VIBE with it….oh my GOD its just immaculate and takes you to heaven. unbelievably euphoric, HAIM on it was a choice, but a choice i will live with

I personally think there's a strong and cohesive project buried within Charli. Just remove the label singles and rejig the tracklist and it's a great listen. Definitely not as experimental as the mixtapes but a nice compromise between that sound and something more mainstream.

I really think 1 Night is her best Collab. The video, the sound, it’s everything I always wanted from her. This was like her meeting in the middle point after Vroom Vroom. When Charli and tropical edm merge its like a match made in Heaven. I need more records produced by Mura Masa!!! congrats to Charli and Mura for making the first and only song ever
