It's nice but still waiting on one of those high production videos like BTD, Ride, or National Anthem.

Maybe I'm not understanding the beauty of it or something but yeah, it's ok.

I don't like it that much tbh but Lana looks gorgeous and the daddy is really good at this shades of cool thingy. I loved the pool scenes and her walking on the streets! It's so hard to find a good colouring for this video though, especially for the scenes that they already edited the shit out (don't know what to call it, the spinning thing where she sings and moves).

I prefer daddies rather than Barrie starring in a video

prolly tired of singing the blues cos its amazing.. hearing it live would be >>> and it fits in w/ the other songs of this era

How come nobody mentioned Velvet Crowbar?
It would've been perfect for UV

I said before that she should've redone You & Me for Ultraviolence and now after hearing the album I firmly stand by that.
  7. Trinity liked a post in a topic by FirstSpider in Born to Die vs Ultraviolence
Honestly, I really like UV, but Born To Die is absolutely untouchable.

Listened to it in the car for the first time today and I have to say, Lana was right when she said it was good driving music!

People are saying that Gaga has never dissed/criticized Lana. Well, maybe not publicly but Lana & Gaga have a lot of history together so maybe something was said behind the scenes. It's not like the internet is the only way celebrities communicate, after all. I definitely think it's Gaga and not Lorde. Lana obviously has a distaste for Gaga (see: So Legit & the "when will people be over her" FB post) so it actually wouldn't be too surprising to see even more shade being thrown. I'm excited to hear the song but on the other hand I do think Lana's being awfully petty... I mean, writing a song bashing another artist and officially releasing it on what's going to be one of the best-selling albums this year is a bit extreme, don't you think?

Don't shoot me but that Taylor Swift Trouble vid with Reeve Carney was just
(Don't actually believe it's about her but I just wanted to point that out once again )

Awhile ago I saw a girl who met Lana backstage tweet that Lana told her the interviewer asked some really personal questions. Apparently when they were meeting, the editor of Fader came in and talked to Lana for awhile and reassured her that they wouldn't be published.

I find it pretty weird that this was a 90-minute interview, yet about half of the article is not even new info, in fact, there is hardly anything new in this. Did they just casually chat about Lana's spaghetti eating habits or what? (And if they did, why isn't that included )

I just can't with her, now 80% are talking about the (boring) feminist issue and just 20% about UV.

Lana never gave a shit about feminism, you all know it, so get over it. Not everybody has to be a feminist soldier, so chill with the insults towards her because I can drag any wannabe pubescent feminist with ease. The reactions towards what she said aren't overwhelmingly negative, on the contrary, many are defending her for being bullied on the subject (feminism and choking - come on!) and some defended her right to have a different opinion on feminism. She's not hypocritical, that's her main "flaw". As we know it that some times it's better to keep your mouth shut or to say something that you aren't believing in.

"My idea of a true feminist is a woman who feels free enough to do whatever she wants" Amen to that. Many feminist don't live like that

God damn. Why does Lana have all these interesting and mysterious lives she has lived in her 20 something years of living and I'm just on my computer reading about them?
  22. Trinity liked a post in a topic by KillKillQueen in Lana's alleged sect/cult past
It would explain a lot, but honestly she's probably just putting some sauce on a weird cult she spent hours reading about online as a teenager and got into. Lizzy Del Grant probably did not live in some weird commune with other teenage girls and a big charismatic "daddy" figure.

Do you know what UV is? a 60's/70's throwback album. Do you know what was a "thing" then? Being in a cult. She's the best fanfiction writer tho.
