Oh <3 So nice to read I'm not the only one who had this mechanism in front of this problem ! I discovered Sophie when I already had my tinnitus, I really like it but it's the type of music I'm not daring to play loud and often. I have no problems with my tinnitus anymore, they're just here without bothering me but it was hard at the beginning yes. Now I enjoy music as much as I want, I just don't really use headphones anymore.

This devil gave me permanent tinnitus after one of her shows on 2018 so I don't listen to her music anymore. But as an ancient fan, the song is great, the lyrics are powerful and the beat is crazy, I would be very happy with this song if I was still a fan. But the visuals are getting more and more kitsch in her eras :o It's horrible

So I expect songs like Hope is a... & White dress I'm IN (let's burry this Blue Ban album like it never existed)

I loved the whole season (just a bit disappointed about Kat's poor storyline, and the absence of Jules in the season) and the school play was a real TV moment. I loved the fall of Cassie (the DARKNESS of the character in the last two episodes ), I'm sad to read that some people think she can't be forgiven, I mean, of course she made the wrong choices but her pain is legit when nobody wants to hear it because some other people are in more difficult situations. Even if she was right, her mother was very cruel to her just because Lexi had the ressources to face all their family mess in a healthier way. In the 3rd season I don't think Rue and Jules will go back together, and I dare to imagine that there will be something between Jules and Nate. The wait will be long.

I see seasons as one of the keys of her music <3 This is what I feel in a year and a Lana song's playing in the background : Spring: Let Me Love You Like A Woman (I start to relax, everything's getting hotter...) & Diet Mountain Dew (... so I have fun, energy in the city) Summer: Honeymoon (I feel good, relaxed on my bed and my body's finally hot) & West Coast (long walks in the heat are hard but the world is mine) Fall: Change (the season I hate is coming, I have to be thoughtful) & Bel Air (days are shorter and I'm looking for magic) Winter: Love Song (A grey day, I drive, going to the sea) & Dance Till We Die (Mixing moods at home, dreaming about the next summer to come)

I received my cassette of the album but there's no fucking sound on it. Can you tell me what kind of amateurism is that ? I asked for a refund I hope they'll be pro at least on this. + I had to pay currents charges for it, a complete mess

Just a random thought about BtD 10th Bday : I remember the first time I've listened to Lana Del Rey, I clicked on the video of Off To The Races on YouTube because I liked the picture on the preview, the one with the American flag, and I remember saying "I was waiting for that song my whole life" and I've heard Video Games just after and I understood this artist would be important for me It was one of these pictures :

I think they kept the guitar (and drums maybe) only and deleted the atmospheric soundscaping added on the released version. Hope this will be released on the CD or somewhere ".flacable"

I'm intoxicated by this song. I love it so deeply and play it on repeat, she's unstoppable :o . It fits the show so perfectly too

Btw The song is perfection to me. Such a strong Pretty When You Cry vibe, and the melody is soooo addictive. I love that type of production and her vocals are so femme-fatale, we never had something that close to the UV magnificence until this one. A real candy to my hears. Apart that I'm often like "oh, I really wanna listen to Wildflower Wildfire right now!” I agree with you. This album is my strong least fav, the songs doesn't fit together, bunch of them are regressive (IYLDWM, Violets, Nectar, Cherry Blossom) there's songs I don't even like (Arcadia, Beautiful), but some tracks are career highlights (WFWF, Blue Banisters, Text Book). I really don't like to listen to it as a whole. Even BTD (that was used to be my least fav) is way more great to listen as a complete album. I think she just wanted to quickly complete her deal with Interscope with this one. But 2021 was a great LDR year thanks to COCC that is my absolute fav album from her now (I'm still deeply moved when I listen to it).

Recieved my yellow vinyl, it's very pretty, the cover is GORGOUS, it might be my favorite Lana album cover.

I read several french reviews of BB, and now I get a point I was missing. Blue Banisters is an assumed synthesis of LDR's persona first decade, with songs that illustrates everything she made for now. I like the idea, but it might be wrong, especially if the next record is equal to this one.

Violets for Roses is stuck in my head all day long since I head it. This is not my fave thing from BB, but it really works on me. Blue Banisters isn't her best album imo. All the previous albums are concept albums but here it's less clear, less interesting for me. It's a cute and pretty album, but that's all for me for now. I think it will grow on me later.
