No honey, don't regret it, it's not a big thing like a whole record of something. And you'll always be able to buy it later (on Discogs or else) when you'll have more money, whatever its price (it still isn't out of stock, so it will not be the rarest thing). You're making the good choice, don't feel bad because of marketing things.

wow, you're like a high level Jack hater. What's the point of trash-talking the closest collaborator of your fave singer ? Y'all guys, if you really wish this song should be done with LDR vocals only it would means she's a basic industry plant. If you had 0 excitement with previous Bleachers album the chances are high for you to dislike it again. So let it be and let them do the music they want (and which gave you A&W and VB btw). You're just not the targets of a Bleachers album (you're allowed to silently wait for the Taylor's next album)

❃Wildflower Wildfire ❃ This song burns everything in me everytime, it's from her worst album, but damn, this one feels like an uppercut of magic and full salvation. I would cry so hard if I had to delete my 47.3Go folder

I still pray for The Last Song original duet with Brian Wilson to leak, it sounds like the most beautiful thing ever made :'(

You were so fast, I didn't had one :(((

I don't really like this two tracks, they sound flat to me

I ranked the album : (And I really like Nymphology) I adore Faerie Soirée & Light Shower, the dirty dry and electric guitars fits Melanie's voice and melodies so heavenly (Light Shower reminds me Watercolor Eyes and I love it), this songs are sonically sophisticated and "mature". Leeches got all my attention for its structure, the melody is cleverly bitter-sweet. The production of Evil is so good, it sounds like a 90's-Buffy's-Bronze-Club garage band mastering that gives to this track a great vibe. And I love the rocky-revenge sound of Void. I listened this album on a long ride and I didn't skipped anything. The only thing I don't like in this era is Powder.

yes ! I still play Ocean Blvd more than Portals, but I listen to it a lot too, I was bored of her character and I'm happy to be excited by her music again.

I think I understand why I loved this album when I heard it, when a lot of you disliked it. I might be wrong but I guess it's because I haven't heard any leaks from this era till 1 week after its release, so everything was 100% new to my hears. And now that I heard the whole leaked session I understand all the differences between the album versions you knew before and the released ones, the choice of the tracklist frustration etc. So, I think when your disappointment will disappear you might hear Portals for what it simply is, a great record.

Blue Banisters - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
triangles19 replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
This trio-single is still one of my favorite release from Lana : Wildflower Wildfire is one of my favorite (or my n°1 favorite) song from her, it's so impactful, elegant, and majestic, Text Book has a unique vibe, fresh, cool and hypnotic (a bright version of the West Coast persona) Blue Banisters is a strong ballad, (another) one of my favorite, a pure bliss of beauty and smartness I come back to this triangle of songs very often. And the covers are iconic for... what it is. The rest of Blue Banisters (the album) is an instant skip to me -
This album is such a complete story, so it's difficult and a little senseless to rank it, but here's for me : 1. Fingertips 2. The Grants 3. A&W 4. Candy Necklace 5. Paris Texas 6. Kintsugi 7. Sweet (is such a grower) 8. Grandfather, please stand on the shoulders of my father while he deep sea fishing 9. Margaret 10. Let the Light In 11. Jon Batiste Interlude 12. Taco Truck x VB 13. Fishtail 14. Judah Smith Interlude 15. Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd 16. Peppers

I wasn't waiting for it, I wanted to take a hear and thought I'll skip all the songs, and it's 100% no skipper, I adore this record. It's like if all characters from a Tim Burton movie were twerking taking poppers <3
