Or a journalist purposely placing an emphasis on certain things because they either want to make her look crazy or dumb. When in fact shes a real intelligent and eccentric artist that can be understood if you allow her to express herself without taking things out of context. Its clear that Lana is a guarded person who only somewhat open up to those shes comfortable with. And even then she's still in state of lock down because shes wants to keep parts of her life under control. But yea, all in all she does her best interviews with people she knows well & that shes comfortable with.

And i think theres plenty who feel the same way lol. Hes an interesting dude. & His relationship with Lana is interesting to say the least.

Burning Desire is so good though  I like the idea for this thread, jokes aside. Some of her lyrics/songs are..interesting (*cough cough* Delicious...) but she's one of my favorite writers easily. Although the "actually bad" list is half composed of my favorites   Born to Die needs to be on the amazing list imo. 

This thread is a nope, from me. This is all personal opinions lol. I do think she's a good songwriter, but she's more a great artist in general, her melodies can fix a bad lyric for me and sometimes i don't really mind them being bad or cringeworthy because the melody is good or how she's singing them

just listened, it's a hot track. different to what she's done before but still recognizably her - a mix of West Coast, Florida Kilos and a touch of some BtD demos; a gorgeous middle ground between Born to Die and Ultraviolence that's clearly also very 2015. the ending is fabulous with the spoken outro.
 
i love it and I'm glad to hear her lyrics are kinda moving away now from her stereotypical phrases (except the chorus). still, it's catchy af and I can imagine it doing rather well in the radio. 1000x better than the stale mess of Honeymoon.

i get why some people think the production comes off as somewhat amateurish, but i actually view it is a step towards a more commercial sound. not that that's a bad thing by any means, this single just seems so much more primed to be a single than any other single in recent memory.

Goodness gracious. It leaked 2 days in advance and not a year.    Some of you are so over dramatic. A leak at this point helps the artist more than it hurts.

Am i the only one that thinks the production on the song is perfect? I love the instrumental, and the mastering.

I wasn't initially thrilled with the snippet, but after listening to the full song it's really nice and it sounds very current sounding, which will go in her favour.
