All I want from Lana right now is for her to stop getting filers, and if she insists on getting them, get a better doctor.

Am I the only one who feels like some exaggerate how happy her recent songs actually are?
 
Lust For Life and GBA are really the only songs on LFL that I would call "happy" songs. Most of the other songs are either a.) still written around negative experiences or feelings (13B, Cherry, IMF, Coachella, WWTWAW, TNC, Heroin) or b.) optimistic with sadness sprinkled in (Love - "Seen so much you could get the blues/It's enough just to make you go crazy", Change, Get Free - "War in my mind, etc.").
 
Even other recent songs like HIAB and LIB are a little sad - if you look beyond the titles, she's singing about how she *tries* to catch happiness, and she's trying to convince someone else in an unhappy state of mind that life is beautiful.
 
I think Lana will always have a bit of sadness in her music. It may not be "but I wish I was dead" sadness, but maybe more of a low-key, bittersweet sadness. To me, Change is a song that's a little sad, a little happy - bittersweet - and if her new material is truly supposed to be Change-like, well...I'm here for it.   

After they uploaded the FK snippet they ulpoaded a story saying how we were so mean and didn't desereve anything and saying something like "the executives won't like this" or some shit like that so I guess Ben and Ed removed the account

I miss her 2012 lips and that's all I'm saying on the matter.

She performed another new song last night. It's called "Forgotten Love" and it's one of my favorites from the new album. So goodddDd.

the way she carries herself on stage in practically pajamas and leggings is odd to me...
I am happy Lana is "changing" & "happier" but it seems weird.
BUT also the people that fell for her music loved her darker & subversive lyrics/melodies...
at least for me I know I did...
I can appreciate Change  -  but I must admit I fell in love with her realistic side of darker lyrics and also romantic relationships described.
Lana sang what we all have felt & she did not give a rats what the Public or Media might say 
 
 
now I feel like she's finally been accepted for creating the dialog of 'sadness is natural' because it is... its okay to feel every emotion 
I will ALWAYS love lana - her music was unlike any other I had heard - but im skeptical of this whole "woke" and happy music for the sake of bringing light in a dark time politically; like can we just wallow for a bit more ?

im here for the evolution of her changing if she stays interesting with it. i need an aesthetic to it, new instrumentals, a theme, etc. but honestly lana we know you're woke but shit no political crap im bored.

tbh I wouldn't mind if she made more songs like When the World Was at War (like the sound, not the topic lol)

when will we get the ultraviolence honeymoon crossover we fucking deserve! gimme songs about soft ice cream with  a slight trap beat that transitions into the next melancholy track about the love you had and lost but you hope they'll come back one day!! 

i think the only reason we're hesitant of an album coming soon is because we have the production of LFL stuck in our heads and how she rushed to add songs on the album. with that lingering in our minds we tend to be afraid that this next album will be considered "rushed" and be a continuation of LFL production wise. but like ya'll have said, her mind changes and shes consistent on changing the theme so im sure that goes with production style.
