Hmm, I only agree to an extent, actually. Sure, most people will read one of these articles & almost immediately forget all about it, but it's one of those things that could stick (like SNL) and end up affecting people's opinion on Lana (positive or negative) in the future.

The Guardian isn't a tabloid, wtf?! It's one of the best newspapers in Europe (if not the best). It's also being talked about in France (only in the 2nd biggest newspaper in the country, no biggie!) and Switzerland. These are the only 2 I came across today without even looking for this specifically, there's probably more...

It says in the caption that it's David Blaine...

Just got home, am a bit drunk. Anyway, Arctic Monkeys put up a good show as per usual, but the acoustics really sucked (the guitars were drowned out & the bass was turned way up). I swear, 4 years ago Alex Turner was the shiest, most glum, shoegazer-tier rock performer I'd ever seen - and now he's a man of the people, a crowd pleaser. Bizarre. (Also bizarre: dude kept combing his hair back in the middle of the concert! Apparently, pompadours aren't concert-friendly.) Beach House were very good too, but their show suffered from the same acoustics problem as AM's. Imo they're not a festival band anyway; their music befits small & intimate venues, not large Summer festivals. It was still very nice, and it was my first time seeing them live too. Oh, and Victoria looked so sexy in a leather jacket (idk how she managed to handle the heat tho?!!) & I adoooooooore her hair. The Smashing Pumpkins aren't really my band but I enjoyed their concert way more than I'd expected tbh. Also, what kind of sexy bassist?!

Maybe refrain from voting until @@Elle corrects it? Otherwise this will become really confusing really soon...

OMG Lenny Kravitz was on HG?! LOL. (Never watched it.)

He's some guy called David Blaine who, according to Google, is an illusionist. Which is pretty fucking random as well. EDIT: I assumed you meant on Lana's right side...

I love the song, but the lyrics are so clichéd that I cringe a little just thinking about them tbh.

How random. Not a huge fan of his voice, gotta admit. Don't really know him as a producer. They could simply be in the same studio at the same time but working separately, though. Which studio is that btw?

Yeah, totally agree. It's the only way to make it work. I think I wouldn't like to see a guy wearing this though; it doesn't have the same 'unexpected' factor that it has on a girl & it would probably look too casual and even a little bit homely (since it isn't as easy for a guy to glam up the rest of his look).

Off To The Races --- Glass room, perfume, cognac, lilac fumes, says it feels like heaven to him. On Our Way --- I love so many things about this song, put I'll have to pick the way she sings How you get so hot? It is VERY hot. Catch and Release --- I really fucking love this song, especially -Yes, I've seen page six lately, ah / I told you both them broads was crazy / Hackin' in your phone and shit & You lured me in with all your gold / Catch and release and you're so cold. Love what's going on with her voice in those 2 moments. And this live performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gRtaGAyP-I Fave moment is from 2:13 onwards. I bet that, like, half those views are mine. I even ripped it from YT because I wanted to have in my iPod and be able to watch it / listen to it whenever.

It's hard to pick a favourite, but I've always loved this one: 'Paris, Texas' is certainly in my top 3 fave films of all time and I'd immediately made the connection, a long time before I saw Chuck mentioning it.

@ Get outta my head, bitch! I second all of Antonia's choices and add: Back To Tha Basics & Off To The Races (not super deep or anything but I really like how they flow and the imagery they convey) TOSTB is probably her strongest song lyrically, imo. Motel 6 tho.
