Totally agree re: Bounce, but I really like Work and CYL tbh.
  2. @@TrailerParkDarling YASSS @ 'Mr. Brightside'! That video is stunning. Many of The Killers' videos aren't pretty good tbh, really liked 'When You Were Young' and 'Read My Mind' has been my go-to feel good video of choice for years now!

  5. Wild Things I love Neve Campbell sfm.
  6. I have, and I totally see what you mean! I'd never thought of that before!
  7. I anxiously waited for @ to create this topic after it was mentioned in the new music video releases one, but she never did & I'm really bored right now, sooo. Here are some of my all time favourites (cba with least faves rn, will do them some other time). NIN - Closer Simultaneously very disturbing / creepy and really sexy (this era Trent Reznor could SO get it tbh). NSFW. The Smashing Pumpkins - Stand Inside Your Love Maybe a bit over the top but I love the whole ~b&w tragic love story thing. The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up Very NSFW. Jonas Åkerlund's masterpiece tbh. Blur - Coffee and TV The cutest and also the saddest video clip EVAH. RIP little cartoon milk. Pulp - This Is Hardcore This one's really great in an almost kitschy way, love it! Also, awesome film noir pastiche. Sigur Rós - Viðrar vel til loftárása Simply one of the most beautiful and meaningful videos I've ever seen. Arctic Monkeys - Suck It And See Just visually stunning and very Lana Del Rey-ish imo, with all the Americana references and the crazy / toxic / intense relationship thing. NSFW-ish. The Strokes - Someday Because how could I not mention them tbh. Probably not even their best, but it's the most special one for me because ~dat nostalgia. MOD NOTE: Please put all music videos UNDER A SPOILER

    Cliteracy

Yeah, there's an awful lot of those... One would think years of watching porn would clue them into a couple of things... apparently not.
  11. Like I said before, I find the lyrics of G&M super clichéd and occasionally even a bit a cringeworthy, but I do love this part: If I get a little prettier, can I be your baby? / You tell me, "Life isn't that hard." So much truth in such a simple line tbh.
  12. Karen Dalton - Something On Your Mind
  13. I know she can be really frustrating sometimes and everything's always so ~complicated with her, BUT...
  14. And YES, I hated Sadie sfm too. She, Johnny and Oliver are probably the characters I liked the least in the whole series tbh.
  15. Completely agree with you 2, @@Quentin and @. I'm so disappointed with this album, it's as boring, unoriginal and generic as can be. The mixtapes were so perfect, dark and with a bit of a 'home-made' feel to them, and the sampling was amazing. He ruined it by trying to make his music sound 'big' and accessible while repeating the same old 'I love bitches & drugs, I'm so dark and dangerous, yolo!' theme, and tbh I kinda get the feeling that's all we're ever gonna get from him & that shit gets old real fast.

    CHVRCHES

I know I'm not in the majority, but tbh I'm a bit disappointed. I'm sorry to say this, but Lauren's voice really gets on my nerves after a while. I don't know what to say, it just does. It's a shame, because all the instrumentals are really great, but... yeah. My favourite tracks are, unsurprisingly, the ones sang by Iain. Oh well, I kinda saw this coming as soon as I found out my favourite song (ZVVL) wouldn't be on the album. edit: You Caught The Light is really really REALLY lovely though.
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDUWu3SOLDU Again and again.
  18. What do you use? Only did it once to capture a NPR stream (not Lana related btw) and it was a whole lotta work.
  19. Judging from that post, I'd say he left the band. I mean, 'first show with the new lineup' & 'Barrie is making music in LA & we're making music here'? Even if he hasn't officially left them yet, he will soon imo. Band members not being 'available' to play live shows because they're living the life with their gf in another continent usually doesn't go down well with the other band members...
  20. It probably is what she meant, and imo it doesn't make it any better; she's in the industry and knows a shitload of artists now, so it's kind of a presumptuous thing to say. But see, you're speculating again too - which is fine. We just have different opinions on why she talks / acts the way she does, which is also perfectly fine. However, it's just kind of dishonest to accuse people of over-analysing / judging / etc. as a means to end a discussion just because you disagree with what's being said. Just my final 2 cents on this.
