Billie might have a bit of anxiety to live up to her Grammy's for the next album. Our girl still remains an underdog. At least we can all say we stan and underrated queen. Another silver lining: I was afraid she would doubt a lot of WHF if she had won AOTY. And everyone in his right mind would: «sequel project» with the same producer... At least she doesn't have the pressure to live up to the hype. Sure, AOTY would have given NFR even more exposure, but imagine the delay for WHF... And Lana can now compare herself to Queen Bey when it comes to being rubbed by the Grammy's

This Lemonade all over again. Both NFR and Lemonade were the most acclaimed records of their year but didn’t win the Grammy. I hate award shows. I was a bit concerned for WHF if NFR won AOTY, that she might rethink it all over so WHF would be « as good as ». At least, this is out of the picture :/

I honestly applaud all of you for being able to rank the songs from NFR. I truly can't. Each day / week brings a new favorite. Venice Bitch might still be my all-time fave, but other than that, I can't rank the songs in order; that order would change every week I guess.

Although NFR is a very cohesive album, with winter now here, there are some songs that are better this time of year then end-of-summer when it came out: Hope, Love Song, How to Disappear (the narrative on that one is superb and the production grew on me), TNBAR... They're all stellar tracks that I appreciate more this time of year. Hope it wins tonight album of the year (song of the year would be a bot weird to me: NFR really is an «ensemble cast»).

Billie will surely win one this Sunday. If the Grammy’s aren’t giving any to Lana, who is the « original » singer, the influence to Billie and so many others, it’s definitely going to be a crime.

I really love NFR, I love how her vocals are clearer on that album... However, I wouldn't mind if they went a little more crazy production-wise, for the next one. It would bring a little extra to the sister-record to NFR...

lol I really wish she is happy, honestly. I don't want her to be depressed for the sake of music and if she finds happiness, good for her! Whatever mood she's in while recording, I'm here for it. I thought at first Sean wasn't as toxic as her previous BF (he seems really present and there for her), but some of us here pointed out some flaws he has apparently and ouf! We'll see how this turns out.

I have two wishes right now, with the whole cop-guy situation who is bad news for her and bla bla bla... 1- Stay with him long enough to write LDR7 as a «falling in love» type of album; 2- Imagine the break-up album following that one if he's as bad as everyone seems to think.

I think many fans don't give a shit about the poetry book lol. Maybe this is why nobody asked about it. I'm looking forward to it (I like her poetry, though not the best), especially the «rough, unpolished» aspect of it (how much gritty will it feel?)

What’s the point? She never responded to any of those questions in the NFR era. I don’t expect her to comment on that anyways. Plus: is it the place ?

She didn’t put out a record that was bad up to this point. WHF might deceive anyone who loves NFR so much ( like myself). I’m curious for WHF, but it’ll come out when it does and she can take as long as she wants, as long as it’s the best it can be. To me, NFR will be hard to top.

This project will be the worst when it comes to « insiders who got a hand on the audio files »: Anyone who is a bit good with words could give it his attempt and say it’s Lana’s.

and let's not forget the «leaked» NFR tracklist that they «got from Lana herself», but «got changed at the last minute».

I expect it by spring, to be honest. Which is fine by me: I'm still on a NFR hype.

Either that or she has ADHD and can't control herself. By now, she should have learned from her many past mistakes to shut up... Or maybe she doesn't get that we will take her word for everything or that she is a big artist with lots of fans and that she can't do as she pleases all the time? I never know, with her... At least, we know she is working on it and it is «simply» delayed. I can live with delayed rather than a scrapped project.

You're right! I had forgotten all about that! I guess that would make it hard to give the charities the right amount on a new edition of NFR with that song on it.

Thanks! Ok, I get all the hate now lol But honestly, at least he seems to be supportive of her and not afraid to commit. I know, this is social media and you can have anything say anything about you, but he's present for her, from what we've seen. No matter how bad or good he is for her, I hope they stick together while she is making WHF: imagine a whole album about falling in love (and maybe she'd be finally happy enough to include Goddamn Yosemite in the mix)
