  1. Interview magazine was founded by Andy Warhol. i know Lana is not Taylor, but that pic doesn’t make any sense as a Christmas wish picture. I could be wrong, but it’s similar to the Neil pic she posted, hinting at what’s next.
  2. BoZ loves American Whore and despised the Beachers collab, so it’s fake. To all of you who still complain everyday about not having the damn tracklist, her latest post, hinting at an Interview magazine cover, makes me think it’s going to be like in the COCC era, where we learned a couple of song titles through that interview.
  3. Not so sure about that: not only did she address it in her interview with Elton John for Rolling stone, but she also put the video on her official yt channel edit: sorry, off topic AF :/
  4. I downloaded my Apple Replay 22 playlist; the title track went from 40th most listened song to 13th of the whole damn year in only 10 days
  5. Apart from the length of A&W (7+min), fingertips (5:58)and Candy Necklace (5:14), that’s about it and that there are songs over 6 min
  6. I second this 💯. We’ve been spoiled since the announcement (to the announcement ). It usually gets real quiet two days after the lead is released but this time, BoZ talked a lot about some tracks, their length… Plus we’re just about to enter holiday season, when everything is quiet AF. I still can’t believe we got the gorgeous title track and the preorder before the end of 2022. i really think and hope a second single is on its way somewhere before February but at the moment, we’ve got to count our blessings.
  7. I don’t know what to think of her taste in men (and sure won’t judge her: I really don’t have a perfect track record when it comes to my own men ) Im mostly surprised this woman is not a Gemini haha: when a relationship is done, The next BF almost seems like a total opposite of the previous one. I guess it’s tricky, in a way: she dated a lot of musicians and must have been fed up by them, so she went for the more « conservative » type to achieve her goal of having a family; but they surely were way too conservative for her…
  8. Im not usually that fan of gossip when it comes to her: we never get the full picture and she chooses not to talk about it, so I’m like « I’ll respect that ». but that post makes it really hard not to wonder and wanting to know what really went on between these two, so that two years later, she still wants to fuck him over I thought the title track dropping on his birthday was a coincidence… From what I read, in the other threads, is that he is now married? Another Francesco situation I guess.
  9. I don’t think she’ll ever retire tbh and since she did not corner herself into a « singer that talks lots about sex » (like many pop girls do and that gets old real fast over time) and since she loves many different genres, she could go on for as much as she wants tbh. However, if she ever has children, the pace of her albums could slow down. Same if / when she tours again. Or if she embraces her poetry even more. i must say though that I’m very surprised that both BB and DYKTTATUOB have been released so fast: I really thought she needed a break after that Annie Mac interview the day the COCC title track was released.
  10. Two night ago, I dreamed some of y’all had had access to the album and you were all tagged and exposed. I was about to scroll down to read your comments.. and I woke up
  11. Yeah I’m starting to think the MV part of this era could be smaller than we expected… Probably because of the gorgeous photoshoot for W magazine and because of the « return to bigger production » we thought this era would be as « big » as Norman. Plus she’s been doing tremendously well this whole year on Spotify… But I guess she’s still in the « BB state of mind » for marketing… Maybe some cute homemade MV was filmed for the title track and it got lost on her stolen computer… (even if so, wouldn’t someone else have a damn copy of it?) The album cover sure is a serve and this album already feels incredible, but if there aren’t any MV for this era, it will make the pre-release a bit « drier » (although, I must say, a MV needs to be really good to have my hyped for more than a few hours )
  12. At least it’s not the « She scrapped the whole album » conversation that happens every damn album cycle when she’s been really quiet
  13. Probably to prevent leaks. With titles, it’s a step closer to looking up songs on sharing sites.
  14. I know this album will have singer -songwriter vibes and there a lot of long songs in it like BoZ said, which « complicates » a bit the choice of singles. the title track made a lot of sense as a single (length, vibes, producers), but I wish the next one will be more up-tempo ish or have more guitars… A&W, I’m dying to hear it… but do you release one of the highlights as a single (even if she did so with VB)? I know it’s often done, but still. I’m curious about Fingertips, the Grants also… I just hope the next single has a MV. maybe it will be the song with the long-ass acronym?
  15. Since there is nothing else to talk about… here’s my ranking of her title tracks: 1- Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd? It’s grand, it progresses into something so beautiful, there’s a vulnerability I connect with immensely these days. And those violins, those lyrics 2- Chemtrails Over the Country Club: when you hit 30+, this song becomes pure magic. It’s easy to overlook it, but there must be crack in it or something, you need to press play again right after it ends. 3- Born To Die: that intro, those chill beats… one of the first tracks I heard from her and thought: Bich is describing my life. 4- Ultraviolence = Honeymoon: both put me in a trance and embody their own album perfectly. 5- Blue Banisters = Norman fucking Rockwell. Both are easy to overlook. Both are singer songwriter gems with incredible vocal moments. But both aren’t tracks I replay over and over, to be honest, and need to be in the context of their albums. 6- Lust for Life. Not a bad song per se (I really like it in fact), the Weeknd and Lana sound very nice together. I love its retro vibes and enjoy it in the Spring, when you become hopeful of months to come. Lyrically not her best though. I love the demo (it could have been a nice reprise on the album), but I don’t believe it could have replaced the released version (I made a playlist of the « OG LFL album », and the demo doesn’t blend well with Love and 13 Beaches - but it’s another debate altogether). voila!
  16. I love it too, so much. There’s something about Lana and violins that gets me every damn time
  17. NFR really was a one-year nightmare of a pre-release. i think what makes the wait ok this time is that I thought a March release was the earliest we could have hoped for. Unless more vinyls plants open, the days of HM’s less-than-two-months prerelease are sadly over.
  18. Ok this so funny we were desperate for the era to begin, last month but yeah, it’s kinda true that I want to know / hear more about this album. Thank god I have a vacation planned until the beginning of January to get my mind (somewhat) off that album
  19. I don’t think she even posted a snippet of the song, right? Preorder day was so chaotic at work and on socials, I had a hard time keeping up.
  20. We survived NFR’s pre-release. We got this. we don’t have the tracklist yet, a new single is almost certain somewhere mid-January - mid February. Maybe even a third one. Maybe some MV, maybe some photoshoots for magazines… It won’t be a drought.
  21. Venice Bitch: paint me happy in blue (fave song from her, so no -brainer) but the best rendition of the word is on the title track of NFR: you make me bluuuuuueeeee
