Sometimes I highkey wish she released the planned Dollhouse album instead of kinda digging herself a grave with the "every album I make will be a visual concept album about this baby character in adult situations" thing, because You Love I, Night Mime, Carousel especially although that one got justice, etc, snapped exponentially harder than Cry Baby tracks did 

Tbt someone leaked this in May 2015 and Melanie claimed it was fake and none of the songs on it were real, but now 

But it would've been so nice to hear the original Ultraviolence, or whatever it was going to be called before Auerbach, and what sound she was trying to go for. Since the untouchable 5 were most likely not final versions. I like to think she intended to release a 2013 album with these songs before possibly releasing something darker like Ultraviolence bc UV was such a drastic departure sonically from her previous work and TU5 were more in-tune with the likes of Paradise imo

But she didn't call them the new singles, she regarded to them as 'end of summer jams'. You think Lana is gonna put songs that were just released because it's the end of summer, on the new album. Unless she pulls a Coachella and just puts them for the fuck of it

Remember last year at amoeba when she said was gonna put out standalone 'little folk singles' (Yosemite aka Mariners Apartment Complex)

A NEW ERA IS UPON US

I like the snippet of MAC, but I'm hoping the other song is completely different and more upbeat. I was thrilled when I heard she was working with Jack b/c he uses cool beats and the songs, even if sad in content, have a catchy vibe to them (similar to BTD). I like how Lana makes producers flex to her vision, but it also seems weird she would choose to work with someone who has the credits he does if she wasn't planning on doing a bigger, dare I say even pop-like sound (I'm not talking Katy Perry here - more Lykke Li vibish).
 
Also, I'm not convinced this is for an album yet. But they've been working together for awhile now so I would hate to think it was all this time for two songs............

She didn't say "end of summer jams that are from an upcoming project/new album", I mean I could totally be wrong but that's just what I predict
