I wonder if Chaerin B and Kathi are still alive

I think Lana is spiritually sensitive. She is probably a medium. I am an universalist spiritist and sorta get some pretty highly spiritual vibes from her like she is constantly channeling stuff.

Guess she was right when she sang Her mind's like a diamond, her thoughts vary between interviews so fast it's both enigmatic and frustrating, as someone said above me. But not only her mindset is as glimmering as a diamond, it's also like a rough one to me: she has so many things to say but cannot find the proper way to express them so she ends up being both dramatic and controversial...

Every time I hear "go, baby, go" in FMWUTTT it makes me think of "go, baby, go go!" from Cherry Lips. I had never contemplated any serious similarities between the artists' sounds, so it's funny to see that other people have made connections too.

Does the beginning of Catch & Release make anyone else think of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds? The first time I heard it I swore it was sampling that song.

I can't people complaining about the technicolor scenes wtf lol

For me that's easily the best part of the video.

I love love love this so much. More so than some of her BTD videos.

The camera work here is amazing. Idk... The way the camera moves, pans out and zoom in and out like the shots when after the car then it zooms to the bridge... It was orgasmic to watch. The walking scenes when it shifts from Lana then to the old guy is also amazing. It gives this really weird SURREAL, Dream like feeling idk.

The pool scenes are also amazing.

Also I noticed those gun shots in the video. Love it.

Yes. Everything you will read publicly says she was born in 1986, but fans have found evidence from her childhood that she is a year older and starting lying about her age at some point in her early career.

She really needs to have an Alex DeLarge costume on in this video for at least 10 seconds. If she does my life would be complete.

GAR and PWYC , filler tracks imo... Though GAR verses are kinda cool, but PWYC is awful

What I remember Lorde saying is that she heard the lyrics "I'm nothing without you" and thought it was a bad message to be sending to girls. People are going to hear a quote like that and think Lorde is in the right and standing up for feminism. But contextually, "Without You" isn't saying "a woman is nothing without a man" but more like "fame and success means nothing without love."

I hope FMWUTTT is about Lorde. She's a pretentious teenager who needs to stop running her mouth.

It makes my heart hurt to hear her say these things. I'm sure she has been depressed for a long time, but to see her start revealing it so candidly reads like a cry for help. Like she's conflicted between desperately wanting to get better but being too exhausted to believe it's possible. She reminds me a lot of Cobain in how she feels about her fame. Hopefully I'm just projecting or reading the signs wrong.

This also makes me wonder if the need to lie/exaggerate about her past is part of her particular brand of mental illness.

“People say to the mentally ill, ‘You know so many people think the world of you.’ But when they don’t like themselves they don’t notice anything. They don’t care about what people think of them. When you hate yourself, whatever people say it doesn’t make sense. ‘Why do they like me? Why do they care about me?’ Because you don’t care about yourself at all.” - Richey Edwards

This interview made me really, really sad. But if I'm being honest, it doesn't surprise me all that much. What does surprise me, however, is how open she is being here. And depending on how you look at it, this can be a good or a bad thing. As a fan it's quite... uncomfortable in a way, because here I am admiring her voice, her talent, uniqueness, songwriting abilities meanwhile.... she just doesn't love herself as much as we expect her to. Remember what she said in a recent interview: 'it's just sad because they care and I just don't..' I do believe she's struggling. I genuinely think she is hurting. Just because she has a platform of fame now, some money in her pocket, a "very large family" and a lot of people around her, doesn't mean she isn't struggling. I wish her true happiness. I wish I could be a part of that but it looks like it's too much of a far stretch.

Also, the comments under that Guardian article really discouraged me. I mean.... really? Some of those people don't know what they're talking about. Hey, we can all have our opinions and it's fine if you think she's this way and that way or her music 'sucks' or whatever - okay, cool. Your problem, not mine, but blatantly disregarding her emotions and invalidating her struggles because she is famous? "poor little rich girl" is what they think. What people need to realize is that mental illness is just that: mental illness. It does not discriminate - when will people understand this? They don't get it, man. They don't get it

LOL @ the time stamp. Bob was creeping!

Also, maybe FMWTTT was intentioned for Lorde as is "Fuck you and your views on feminism, I'm writing a song about sleeping my way to success, just because I CAN! And that's feminism, biotch."
