Let's fix all this: Wynwood is a witch with her color power, Lana should/shouldn't shove her head in the oven and Cinnamon is that bitch we knew she was and we need her to be the next single. Is everyone happy? Can we all be happy now?

I swear this is why white parents should stop telling their kids they're special snowflakes and feeding them wonder bread and kool-aid. But anyways, can we like, go back to the head in the oven conversation? At least that was realistic...

Damn, I miss a few pages and now I'm back to the rainbow literally throwing up on all this thread. And then there's even drama about it? lmaooo =)))) Y'all are something else

Now I'm kind of seriously hoping Yosemite is on the album. I just imagined it with Jack's acoustic production with outdoor sounds like birds chirping. Sort of like how GKIT sounded, except with lyrics of Lana reflecting on how happy she is in the current state of her life.

How can people say this when Coachella exists.

I wish lana would do something like a series. Did chuck not mention there was a MAC "series" back when the music video was released? even if it doesn't have a plot, strong individual video aesthetics thrown together to tracks from NFR in a similar style to how EH did it would be awesome.

I think a lot of people here are missing that plath was more than her suicide. if there's a video for this song, it'll most likely reference her aesthetics and work - similar to how the title also represents an author. it'll be her projecting herself and her work onto these figures, and not necessarily imitating their life stories.

im pretty sure it was just the gas and she died of carbon monoxide poisoning which i've heard is rather painless

if i could pick a way to die that would be my pick honestly

Here’s the thing, Lana wouldn’t disrespect Sylvia by putting her “head in an oven” just to stir drama when she’s been working on editing herself down since 2014. She didn’t show the graphic images of the assasination scene in the National Anthem video, and the worst we’ve seen during that era was the ending of the BTD music video, the ending of Blue Jeans, and the jumping off scenes in Summertime Sadness. She could’ve kept the original video for UV, but she didn’t because who knows? Maybe she thought the original went too far, maybe her managers convinced her it wasn’t the right move for her career and the backlash would get worse. She even removed the “drowning” scene in Shades of Cool, yet it’s one of her best music videos. Anyway, she hasn’t spoken up any regret for these kinds of decisions. Usually it’s for moments she said she should’ve thought more of what she was putting out there. Not putting effort in visuals is lazy. But so is being controversial for the sake of being controversial. That’s not deep or entertaining.

The “baby, you have to forget and I have to move on” lyric should’ve definitely been on TNC, but I still love the song and I’m prob one of the few who don’t hate it.

Ok, you guys can stop coming with minor things Lana did that lean towards ''controversial''. None of these examples even compare to her mimicking Sylvia Plath's death.

Say your mother died from suicide, through a horrible act, and then 10 years later you see a random musician recreating it, saying it's fascinating or a cool concept or whatever, how would you fucking feel. People quick to call everyone ''overly sensitive pussies'' when they are a bunch of insensitive shits. Shut the fuck up

But it’s not like Lana is trying to make a biography or something like that, it’s completely different
