So I went and saw Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday (yeah it was pretty mediocre) But I picked up something from it.

Kinda made me think of Lana        I think the reason LFL was so bad was because she got too inside of her own head and everyone just trusted her enough to say yes.
She went through like a 3 month trap-phase and suddenly itwas all she was about. I think it's important for Lana to work with people like Jack, or Dan Aurebach, etc. So that she
is challenged by someone else's vision.
 
It seems like it usually ends with the best final product IMO too, (UV & NFR)

Everyone here already knows Lana has some part in production. No one is denying that but it's not bad to acknowledge Jack's efforts either.

wdym? I know Lana had a part in creating the sound but Jack is the brains behind the ultimate production. Let's not act like Lana wasn't livestreaming herself watching the Dodgers game while Jack was hard at work creating the beats for How To Disappear

We all know Lana writes her songs but the production is as important too imo

I actually feel so bad for slandering Jack in the beginning of this thread. I'll put my hands up and admit I was wrong about him. After listening to these snippets, and also realising that he's giving Lana the confidence to sing live again without backing tracks, I can say for sure that he's a good guy, and a good producer too. Obviously we don't know what the entire album will sound like, but he made VB and MAC so...it's looking good so far. I have confidence in him.

Jack makes people feel confident. I don't think Lorde would've sung Writer In The Dark the way she does without working with Jack. She never let her vocals shine this way. But I think Jack really pushes artists to their limits, showing them they're able to do more than they thought. He's the type of guy saying "you're afraid to hit a note? Try it anyway, and you'll see you can do it".

All lust for life era needed was another SNL performance but instead of sounding like a shakira tribute act she shown the world her KILLER VOCALS and said fuck you to whoever mocked her 5 years prior... that would've been the perfect full circle moment.

I honestly do not want any leaks this era, I was so thirsty for them during LFL but look what the BAR leaks have given us   I have no doubt if tracks leak (especially cinnamon) we'll have another total overhaul of the album themes and rushed newer material. Plus we know how hard Lana's taken leaks in the past. i just want this album in its perfected state and not have songs we already love be scrapped due to leaks.
 
That doesnt include LFL or HM outtakes tho. or life is beautiful

I know I'm the first guilty of it but can we please stop putting our frustration about the non-soon-release of NFR into tracks flame war  It's pointless at least and sorta annoying at most idk there's no need to demonize this or that song in the profit of another. They're all good and that's the tea
