She said she didn’t like the jack and Charli do America tour because she wasn’t able to write and create new music but she’s been touring for two years... and if anything touring for an act like Taylor would stress Charli out more as she can’t swear and has to act in a manner that is acceptable for Taylor and her audience

I mean she openly admitted many times during 2016-2017 how much she hated her label and that there was friction between them.
 
2016: Charli gets mad cos ATAP flopped and her label don't want to push her album.
 
2018: Charli gets mad cos 1999 is her biggest hit in 4 years and her label are considering pushing her album.

why is she having a meltdown... we want an album album and she knows this she keeps giving so much on things that we don't really need - parties, tours, features, etc. we really need this album. she has at least 4 albums worth of songs that were made for a third album at this point. I love her, but this is ridiculous.

Urgh, 1999 is her first hit since Doing It! Put out an album, I know it might not be her fault, but somebody somewhere is fucking up... If they don't put out an album after the success of this single then I fear we'll never get another album as such.
