Sirens have a different look and storyline depending on where you get your info from. Greeks aren't the only cultures to have mentioned them. They sometimes are mermaids, they are sometimes those half birds things, they could even be the ugly deformed thing, even aliens. So really she could be any type. The most popular you see in tv and movies are the ones who mask themselves as your inner desires/temptation and with a song to lure you into the ocean and drown you. They mostly have been depicted as beautiful and then when you get close they transform into something terrifying and then drown. There's always been a thin line on if mermaids are interchangeable. But with lore, obviously people are going to have a creative take because they aren't real. So I wouldn't overthink it.

No. She's been mentioning "Jimmy" for years. I'm pretty sure before she ever dated Barrie. I don't think the Jimmy stories are autobiographical. It wouldn't have. That second part is the best part of the song.

I've been listening to it on repeat. EVERYTHING except Low (and those rap interludes) grows on you. I love this album.

I really liked that it was a mixed bag. Would have liked a bit more like Prom and Kiss Me More, but didn't quite get that. I dont think I enjoy the hip hop tracks. But otherwise its a solid album, it has what everyone would like, just not as a whole.

I think it's like Tender. Just a random snip of a song. Not meant to be anywhere but on the MV.

It's not her best, it's missing the fun. But it's still pretty good. Listenable. I'm gonna run it back a bunch. Excluding the singles, Unleavable is the best.
