i quite like love! i feel like its one of the better songs on the album and was a great start to the lfl era and raised my expectations tbh

I'm so intrigued by your dislike/ambivalence of Love! I have noticed this among a few members - personally I find the song to be uplifting, nostalgic, light and gives me a warmfuzzy feeling. What drags it down for you?

It's because of the timezone. Due to being hours ahead in the day, we are simply just more developed in terms of taste. 
 

Oh, for a moment I thought this was the "Unpopular Opinions" thread because clearly Love is very cute, although I will admit that the first time I listened was whilst watching the mv and I'm a fucking sucker for that aesthetic, so that helps.

Lust for Life album version is absolute rubbish compared to the demo. I mean there are parts of both that I like, and ideally I'd combine those parts in Audacity or some shit, but I'm dumb so I can't.

I'll echo everything everyone had already said - my issue with the record is just cohesion. I arranged LFL into 3 EP sized playlists. I never listen to the album from start to finish, instead opting to just hit one that is good for a mood.

The experience is a lot more enjoyable and way less jarring. Again, I'm glad we got a gazillion tracks instead of getting less material. But it's a messssss.

Would be better if it was "Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Auto-tuned Loon)". Hyped for Black Canary tho.

Yes, she said this in the Ultraviolence track by track discussion. The original publishers hold a percentage of the songs proceeds.
