If you watched the clip for 'Born to Die' and then this back to back you would think her label had dropped her.
 
Very cute. The animation is an unexpected choice but really isn't distinctive enough to save the video from being boring. I don't think this will ever warrant a repeat watch.
 
Hopefully the release of this means the end of this pauvre theatre aesthetic.

ETA: I have a photographic memory but I can't remember how I discovered Lana's music. One day it just suddenly appeared. I knew vaguely of Lana del Rey but I started listening and it was all familiar like a dream even though I'd never heard it before.

She looks terrific in 6, 7 and 9. I settled on 7 for a little bit more thought, and the great angle. Simplicity, familiarity and great hair.
 
So many hilarious bad ones due to lighting etc. I think I have to go with 5 and 8 being the worst. 8 is the winner from those tragic pink nails and very unflattering pose. She looks lost and barely holding it together too.

I'd love her to work on an entire album with Paul Epworth. We all love Black Beauty which was produced by him. Paul has also produced Florence and the Machine, London Grammar, and Adele, and has the proficiency to add extreme power and drama to work. I think we're not going to get to that height again as Lana mellows out as she goes into later life, but it might have been more suitable earlier in her work.
