Just take a look at her YT views and subscribers, her SoundCloud followers, the wannabes coming out of the woodwork, doing soundtrack singles to major event movies. Just because she doesn't whore herself out on Twitter or Live TV doesn't mean there isn't a thirst for her.

So which version will be used for the video then?...I guess that one is likely to be the album version as well. We'll see, hopefully soon.
In general I can't wait for the video's release! I hope that she won't recitate any poems like she did in Tropico, a short monologue would be fine imo but I'm also happy with just the song. Aside from that I'm really curious about the "storyline" (if there's actually one) and if we'll learn more about that cuban guy. Still asking myself if Soileau is really representing him but well, he's as much cuban as Lana I guess, so it would match in a weird way.

So it has to come out before like July 5th! Exciting right ? And I used to think they were kidding when they said she'd play her whole album but they posted it more than three times so it has to be legit! I'm just so excited like the fact that they're actually gonna be more songs is so exciting! I mean I haven't stopped playing west coast since it's premier! I even play it while
I'm sleeping haha and another thing I'm so happy - Lana is looking so good , happy and healthy and she's occupied with concerts and photoshoots (etc.) I'm so excited for what else the era has in store for us!

Another thing I'm pretty nervous about is that a lot of critics are hoping that her album related to the classic 'Clockwork Orange' based on the title 'Ultraviolence' which was a main theme in the movie but based on the interview I feel like there's smaller chances of that happening.. I hope the theme of the album isn't romanticizing abuse in a relationship in a sexy way... Like a song like that from lana here and there is okay but not the whole album?? I just really hope she didn't mean 'Ultraviolence' as in 'I like it when my man pushes me down on the ground , pull my hair , etc.' Kinda thing.. I hope there's still more art and meaning in that if that's the case. Another thing I noticed is her new music contains a Spanish theme she's into now? ( 'cubano como yo my love' , "you like your women spanish, dark, tall and proud.." , " cariño.." , new tattoo 'Nina Bella' ) I feel like that's going to play a big role in the new era too.. I can dig it. But as for where the titles 'ultraviolence' comes from I'm a little bit nervous..

Now that I think about it, June 2nd is actually a great release date. It's only three days after Maleficent comes out in theaters so hype will definitely be building due to Once Upon a Dream. I think that's a smart move. I, personally, won't mind the wait as long as we get something along the way (West Coast video, promotional photos, tracklist, cover art, etc)

I would kind of prefer that she kept people waiting for a new song until the album release. It would cause an even buzzier release, I think.

That's so cool because I'm gonna see Lana June 20! Ahhhh I'm so happy though I shouldn't get my hopes up too high since she could still only perform BTD/Paradise and only very few of UV? Idk

i can understand if the guy is pissed off but a million dollars that's RIDICULOUS 

I HATE HATE HATE how people are still talking about her SNL performance ! I need lana to. Get up there for round two and finish what she started and show them her progress ! She's much more comfortable now! She needs to get back on there and shut them up for good! Lana can Sing! I hate how they base her whole image and sound on songs like video games and btd.. Lana's tried so many different sounds in music (Mj , Lg , unreleased , etc.) and all in all her voice is amazing... She hits high notes so well and ughh... She just needs to get back up there and change their opinion of her ,

My personal belief is that she sings like a storyteller. In Boarding School, for example, she sings about being pro-anorexia alongside other serious things but I don't believe she honestly believes these things. She is a storyteller; she undergoes different people and different lives and tells stories. Half the stuff she sings about are unlikely to have even happened to her, but she is such a fantastic storyteller that she can sing in such excessive detail and make us believe it's truthful.
 
Remember: Lana did say this album would be "unlistenable". She wasn't going to be simply singing about missing a lover, she was bound to stray into dangerous territory. Some of that may anger some of you, some of you may find it completely fine. Regardless of that, this is the reaction Lana wanted; she chose to sing about such dark topics to make the album more personal.
