Anyways none of this has anything to do about much but I'll be detailing some of my feelings in my next two books of poetry (mostly the second one) with Simon and Schuster. Yes I'm still making personal reparations with the proceeds of the books to my choice of Native American foundations which I'm very happy about. And I'm sure there will be tinges of what I've been pondering in my new album that comes out October 22th.

i get that and i agree with you elle, but no one’s really reading the other thread and mine was just an update which was more BB related than festival related, imo it would make sense to keep it in the bb thread as we already don’t have many updates in here either way (and discussing a possible bb tour wouldn’t hurt even if it’s unlikely we’ll get one)

Chemtrails is eligible for 2022, but Blue Banisters would probably go to 2023 if it were to be nominated (and I don't think they're too concerned about songs or albums being a few months to a year old as much anymore, Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" was nominated quite a while after it was released). I do think it'd be nice to see Lana get recognition like that from the Academy, but it's not something I really expect after LFL and NFR lost their categories in 2018 and 2020.

it is. it has more piano, more bass, the guitars are less of a focal point and there’s more buildup which makes the song sound more complete/finished. apparently a highlight of the album so they say.

? apparently they just confirmed Lana’s still scheduled to perform at brasil’s lollapalooza in march 2022. will she sing BB songs? (ofc she won’t she’ll sing bartender, 6 random covers and the hope/black beauty/y&b medley and call it a day wbk). IF it’s true (and she doesn’t cancel last minute) this could indicate a tour announcement is incoming
