i almost decided to go to this but ended up going to NorthSide in Denmark instead bc i couldn't picture myself alone in Finland, lmao. the plan was to see Frank Ocean & i did so it's all good, but i'm questioning my life decisions a little bit rn, ngl

instant favorite & probably the best song in the album. my favorite thing about the lyrics is how the Manson references seem to be ambiguously written both from the pov of a cult member (expanding on what she's done before of equating the man in her life to a cult leader) but also that of a victim (Topanga Canyon murder - a musician was killed, "writing in blood on my walls" - her house being invaded by stalkers). i love how she goes from "made the kids go crazy" to "make my head get crazy", it really encapsulates the dual meaning of the song. that, the ethereal melody/vocals & the gun cocking sounds = ❤️

so Even is pan, time to update my signature lmao <3 also, yesterday's clip made me legit tear up, it was better than anything i'd ever hoped for. personally, i don't think most of the criticism re: this season is fair tbh, and mostly reflects the very different & much larger audience when compared to the other seasons. also, people are too impatient and prone to snap judgement on a clip-by-clip basis instead of waiting and seeing how it all unfolds. and imo Julie very much kept her target audience (norwegian teens) and didn't adapt the show to international viewers, which - good.

more than annoying, it's emotionally wrecking and pretty much life consuming tbh. it was more with s3 than with this one, but still. you can live without that pain.

i think she's the same as she's always been tbh, just seen from a different pov. she's always been unfiltered and insensitive/ignorant at times, but she's also a loyal friend and probably dealing with a shitload of personal issues (as has been hinted in past seasons & now in this one too). she was never my favorite character because i practically don't relate to her at all, but i'm really sad we're not getting a final Vilde season like everyone was expecting bc i think she has an interesting story to tell. -- what the fuck did Sana do, jfc. RIP her friendship with Isak tbh - especially if this ends up affecting Even, like a lot of people are expecting.
