  6. Neil. also, it would be interesting to turn this into a poll.
  7. a dark dangerous affair with a married man. in order: meeting him, getting away together, life on the run. You Can Be The Boss Us Against The World Push Me Down someone should do a Wild At Heart/True Romance/Badlands -inspired movie based on these 3 songs
  8. i hope she never goes there. it's a tacky af money-hungry move.
  9. this is prob my fave live look (Sweetlife festival, 2014) that UV era style
  10. All Over Me Desert Hearts Life Partners My Own Private Idaho Bound Lost & Delirious also, both obvious recs - Blue is the Warmest Color (to me, the best lesbian film of all time; not a huge fan of Carol btw) & since someone mentioned SKAM (which is faaaaabulous), the british tv show Skins (S1 has an openly gay character, S2 has a whole storyline about a lesbian couple)
  11. Kacey Musgraves - Dime Store Cowgirl

ikr. why tf doesn't she release a new video
  13. the album is okay but sounds way too samey to me, more than half the songs are forgettable even after repeated listens. House of Balloons days are truly dead and gone... my fave songs are Six Feet Under, False Alarm, Ordinary Life, Starboy & obv Stargirl.
  14. occultist queen. ready for her satanic era & Jinx Dawson style looks.
  15. 9, one of my fave pics of Lana
  16. https://youtu.be/--bxTVx8L8E Oh, the wind, the wind is blowing, through the graves the wind is blowing, freedom soon will come; then we'll come from the shadows. RIP.
  17. my recent obsession is Globelamp AKA Elizabeth Le Fey, a psych folk artist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjPNJo_wdkA fun fact, she's also a LDR fan & covered Old Money
  18. Hope has always been a genuine oddball & i seriously doubt she keeps up with the latest trends, musical and otherwise. so she's definitely not the best person to use to gauge Lana's mainstream popularity imo.
  19. Almost like this vain, uninteresting & unhelpful comment. Welcome, you'll fit right in. --- Another vote for Ultraviolence.

there's endless discussion about this but no definitive answer. black vinyl is also colored vinyl, since carbon black is added to the PVC; since it's also an homogenizing agent, it helps reduce noise and wear, and apparently most other pigments aren't as good in that regard - mostly bc colored vinyl is usually just a gimmick and there's no real push to come up with additives that can replace carbon and improve quality (but would also increase the cost of production). so it would mostly depend on the pressing & basically on how 'audiophile-friendly' a given band or artist is. what definitely sounds terrible are picture discs though, those are a waste of money (sonically, anyway).
