Is it really that hard for you to understand that Lana has different sounds, and that some people prefer one style to another?  Some people like her fast songs, some people like her slow songs, some people like her jazz songs, some people like her rock songs, some people like her hip hop songs.  It's incredibly arrogant to say that someone shouldn't listen to her now just because they aren't hyperventilating about a particular song.

It's OK, but a bit boring.  It's not just that it's slow -- but that it's slow and there aren't a lot of lyrics, so the words feel dragged out to finish the lines.  Also, her slow songs are better with more interesting drum/bass lines, IMO.  I'd take pretty much every song on BTD over this.
 
She sounds great vocally, but I hope the rest of the album is more interesting.  If it's 14 songs of this, it will be a huge let-down. 

It actually is pretty serious when you have people suggesting that others aren't "real fans" or that should stop listening to Lana just because they aren't creaming themselves over her latest song.  People have been absolutely awful to Heartcore in this thread, it's gross.

though I might not think much of the track itself, it's pretty cute that she posted it on her account and not the vevo one

Ok, so, I'm listening it for the third time cause I need to understand if I like this.
Well, I prefer the last part of the song, like, from the bridge to the end. I think she makes her voice even more heavenly than before, maybe it's an impression caused by the instrumental, she's almost singing without music in some parts and I don't really like it... But anyway, I quite like Honeymoon but I don't think I would ever literally FALL IN LOVE with this song like I did with Ride, Carmen, Old Money and others

but you weren't criticising my opinion! you were basically saying that i had to like it because she hadn't released anything in a while. evidently, you do care that i dislike the song and believe it to be shit, otherwise you wouldn't be dragging this out. please stop.

This is going to sound horrible live. Imagine those annoying fans SHOUTING the lyrics to this sleepy, almost instrument-less song.

Besides, the fact that Honeymoon has a vintage quality to it doesn't mean it SHOULD BE slow. It's a lovely song but it could use a faster tempo imo

The melodies are not bad, her vocals sound good and the strings are incredible. It's just not interesting enough to go on for 6 minutes.

it's beautiful but definitely too slow  I was expecting the 'We could cruise to the blues...' part to be more cheerful (it's kinda depressing) Harmonies and instrumental on point, giving me that 60's Italian movie vibe  Don't like the bridge (not here for recycling Video Games' drums and that Brooklyn Baby melody The outro is the best thing of the song, giving me Great Gig in the Sky vibes, fantastic 

It's nice, but it's kind of boring imo.
She sounds amazing, and the ending was everything, but I was really hoping for more, I mean when West Coast came out I literally hyperventilated (I know I'm extra, don't clock me). With Honeymoon, I was just waiting for it to interest me tbh

It seems way slower than Video Games or Ultraviolence.  It has more of a Oh Say vibe IMO.

stop acting like everything lana does is 100% perfect and if someone doesn't like it then they're not a true fan

hopefully it will also kill off the annoying stalker fans who can't tolerate a single criticism of their idol

After I listened to the snippets I was really excited. Then I asked myself if I genuinely liked them or if I was just running high off of the idea of a new era approaching and new music. After a (very) short deliberation i've decided that I am more inclined towards the latter. The snippets are kind of zZZZzz. Soft and dreamy is nice but only if you do it right.

Sorry but, it sounds boring. Sounds like som Dan Heath produced.

that's my problem with Honeymoon -- you don't need to hear the whole song to realize the chorus isn't epic and impactful like Ride/West Coast. 
 
Hopefully something else is the lead single with a little more life
