Jack doesn’t have the « bad guy » aura she loves. I love your theory though. I’d love it to be true haha! And we could add some up by saying that she met the actor she’s been apparently seeing for the last few months (can’t remember his name) and she couldn’t decide between the good and the bad guy...

Honestly I'm starting to think it's scrapped. I know people will say "but her poetry book is obv coming first" but like...surely Lana herself would feel that the album is aging already and she's moving onto the next one in terms of writing/planning or whatever it is. She works fast. I wouldn't be surprised at all at this point.

Lots of people mentioning a summer or autumn release... What makes you thinks there’s even an album anymore?

I'm not even expecting an album trailer this time around tbh...

I mean are we really sure about that???

If the album trailer is in the same vein as the MAC/VB videos she can keep it 

She has mentioned them being on the album a few times though...

I am expecting this website to crash out of all the disappointment after NFR is released lol.
 
Seriously, I think it's gonna be a «HM 2.0» when it comes to the first attraction of the album: many songs will maybe seem bland to some of you at first listen or all the songs will sound «the same», but most of the ballads will be growers and slow burners, with a couple of songs that will stand out at first (like Cinnamon). 

I don’t think it will flop at all, music journalists who didn’t get her at first have turned around and seem very keen on hearing this project, I know I am very excited to hear it and it seems that there are so many out there who are impatient to play it. The expectations are high so it might sell fairly well for an album which isn’t really getting much promotion at all, but I guess no one will tell what we think of the album until we’ve played it through a few times.

I know it's asking too much but an album that sounds like Flipside would be divine

The poetry book is the worst thing that could have happened to us. It postpines the album, Lana seems to only care for it over NFR and the poems are bad anyway

I shazamed all of the snippets again and HIAB still is on there but HTD as well, which wasn't the case before, am I right?

I just want the full songs we've heard snippets of, HQ studio versions of HtD and Hey Blue Baby, and an Audiobook of VBBOTG, is that too much to ask??
 

so you basically just want old songs/scrapped songs/songs we already heard in some kind of way on the album AND no NEW songs?

An audiobook with soft instrumentals of her reading the poems would be almost as good as a new album. I love walking around the streets and listening to her monologues. It's powerful. Maybe even more so than music

i dont know, i've always liked how lana uses words. she makes everything seem so sad, yet so beautiful, so hopeless yet so hopeful, so bittersweet yet so romantic. i love her poems so much
