As a young person in Scotland I am absolutely disgusted. We were told in the 2014 independence referendum that the only way for Scotland to stay a member of the EU was by voting to stay in the UK. Scotland voted to stay in the UK, and voted resoundingly in favour of Remain in the EU, and yet it is undemocratically being dragged out of the EU against our wishes.
 
I want a new independence referendum, and I would vote Yes in a heartbeat. I don't want to be part of this new UK which is inward-looking, economically weaker than ever before, and consumed by ugly xenophobic rhetoric. I want OUT of the UK, and I want OUT now.

I think it's very likely Scotland will get another referendum. This one changes the entire context of Scottish independence, people will be protesting for sure.

And I see the majority of the leave voters were 65+. Fuck the greying population I hope life expectancy lowers to 60 you useless out of touch losers who still hold the racist values you were brought up with. This whole result came from the fear monger ing from the media on immigrantion and refugees and the xenophobic attitude from the public I am certain.

To the mods, sorry if I am not allowed to post links! I don't know if I can or can't. Please forgive me if that is not allowed. I just want the Allie fans to have the best quality of these tracks considering soundcloud rips are not only a turnoff but sound like shit as well as drive me nuts.

My condolences to those who were affected by these events and my heart goes out to everyone who is suffering from them. The world is a terrible place a lot of the time and more often than not nothing is done to prevent these kind of tragedies. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of both tragedies and I hope they can find peace knowing that the world is grieving with them and people are wanting to make a difference.
 
Can you not turn this thread into something about you? If you wanna talk disrespectful, you're certainly right there in the middle of it, coming in a thread about a tragedy just to start some bullshit. You're upset and that's fine, but going on like this is only going to take attention away from these events and put all the attention on you. I'm not trying to argue and certainly not trying to fight, but please, be a little more gentle with your words. It's bad enough already.

I swear a credible leak blog somewhere at some point in 2014/2015 mentioned that Butterflies are actually the other way round (Part 1 is actually Part 2 or vice versa )

Whether or not it belongs to a certain "era" or not, you have the songs and like @@KillForLove said, you're hoarding the track(s). However you did so, you have the songs and shouldn't act bratty when someone leaks snippets of them and they have the possibility of leaking the songs you're hoarding for yourself.

Yeah, definitely. I'm actually halfway done with another record. I'm not committing to anything, but I have a bunch of B sides I kind of want to finish. Plus, I've been making a bit of new music.
How would you describe the direction of the new songs?
With Art Angels, it was all like [growls]. This would be more chill vibes, downtempos, synth-y shit. That makes it sound boring. It's not
boring.
So it's a B-sides album?
You know how Lana Del Rey put out Paradise Edition after Born to Die? It would be like that. There are songs I seriously considered for Art Angels, but they fucked with the momentum when I tried to put them on the record.

last time, everyone wanted the visiosn follow up right away and any off-hand comment i made about new material became the weapon by which i was attacked, so to save my self grief i am publicly stating that there is no new music coming any time soon. I really need a break and I intent to take one. 
I’m sure this will be referred to as a delay or a lost album or a rant/ screed/ melt down. just fyi, it is none of these things. This is literally nothing besides a ‘clarification’ that new material is not imminent.
