Quite literally littering every other thread. Thank you for that swift clean up. x

I ordered 'On The Road' by Jack Kérouac, just received it and will get into it after my semester is done.

I wouldn't say I lost interest in her as an artist, I'm still a hopeful fan and very looking forward to next releases and stuff. But, you do hit the nail when you say that her work has little to no replay value nowadays. I didn't like 'Lust for Life' as an album, but the songs I loved on there, I loved them and I'm still listening to them to this day. On 'NFR'... I'll listen to the title track sometimes even if the opening line is cringy, or sometimes if I feel like it 'Venice Bitch' or 'The greatest', but that's honestly about it.

While I love the song despite its many "white noise" moments and the tinny piano and overall production, this has got to be the cringiest opening line, let alone lyric, in Lana's discography. It's in the same category as "I'm crying while I'm cuming" and "Fuck it I luh yaaa" for me.

Never seen 'Midnight Express', but my dad loves early 80s synth music. So there goes the king, Giorgio Moroder.

I have come to the conclusion that Lana will never release a song that is as transcending, intricate, mesmerizing, ethereal and intoxicating as 'West Coast'—and I'm at peace with that.

Since everyone is talking about that damn monolith, it got me thinking of this. Though the song literally came out a hundred years prior to the movie, I love Kubrick's user of 'The Blue Danube, in '2001: A Space Odyssey'. This scene is nothing short of spectacular. So serene. This one is as equally epic.

Lana will cover 'Borderline' confirmed. -
I have never really liked 'Mariners Apartment Complex' all that much. Don't get me wrong it's a good song—but in world of 'West Coast', 'Ride', 'The Blackest Day' and even 'Venice Bitch', 'MAC' is the superior song?

'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood' was an alright cover, it was a bit spooky, but overall it was just fine. Though not her best closing track. I wouldn't call it a "low point" per se, not when songs like 'In My Feelings', 'Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind' or 'How to disappear' exist; which are arguably some of her worst songs lyrically, as well as her least interesting production efforts. -
Not me thinking for a split second that Ontario Mills Mall in Ontario was in Ontario, Canada.

Everyone on here talking about blonde vs. brunette, when in reality the only so called conversation we should have about Lana's hair is: auburn >>> every other colour. That's that. A long beautiful, luscious cascade of mahogany silkiness. That's what I say.

I have a thing for Bond themes. John Barry did amazing work in the earlier films! The infamous James Bond theme. Goldfingerrrr. Shirley Bassey is a national treasure, she has the range! Probably my favourite Bond theme ever. Love that 60s orchestral lush production! Fun fact: Nancy Sinatra was actually really nervous to record this song, so much so that apparently the final song was made out of 20+ different vocal takes put together. There is also an alternative version that exists that she later released. Not the official theme to 'Her Majesty's Secret Service', but this Louis Armstrong song, again, is just pure 60s lushness. Another Shirley Bassey masterpiece from the eponymously named movie. Men are mere mortals who are not worth going to your grave for! Feminist icon before her time. Live and Let Die is pretty damn good too! Another one of my very favourite bond themes. Adele did amazing with her Bond theme, it's reminiscent of all those epic songs that came before--the Barry influences are strong here. I love the "You may have my number, you can take my name, but you'll never have my heeeeart!". Epic.

So much depth and soul in this amazing cover. I was left starved after NFR, but now I'm full to the brim. Can't wait to hear the whole record. -

Lana's mind sometimes. I would even add to that that she complemented that weird selfie with an equally weird/ugly font, but that horse has been beaten to death. She's put the bar so low for her visuals, I can't. Can't wait for the cover to come out though. -

Do people actually think Lana is not working with Jack on this album? I feel like she is honestly. I feel like her upcoming album will probably have different producers for every tracks on the album. -
Was it even funny to begin with? People breaking their arms reaching trying to tear Lana down at this particular point.
