  1. I just want that 'Born To Die: The Paradise Edition' boxset, is that too much to ask? Also, I kinda regret not picking up that Peyote T-Shirt.

    Paris Hilton

Time to share this classic from my Tumblr days.

    Paris Hilton

    How iconic is that wow
  4. Watch her sing 'I'll Be Home For Christmas' all on her own. ??? Which wouldn't actually be so bad, but still, COCC is way overdue and the American Classics album is technically on the way.
  5. This is simultaneously exciting and nerve-racking. I really wonder what she's going to sing. Also, this better be good I don't want to spend the next eight years defending a performance—the SNL war flashbacks are still here.
  6. I want Elizabeth Debicki to play W*n Edwards. That is all. (sorry Liz)
  7. I actually think that Kristen Stewart would make a pretty great Lana, she would totally nail her awkward ways and speech patterns and overall slight laziness. Florence Pugh would be a pretty solid runner up. Chunk could be played by a lazy Michelle Williams or Carey Mulligan. Gwinnie would be a fantastic Patty, she could literally play herself and she'd be a spot on, cold, detached (allegedly) self-centered hating mother. (if we're being serious Cate Blanchett could also slay that part ) Keanu Reeves could play Dan Auerbach as far as I'm concerned. Also, I want Ben Schwartz to play Jack Antonoff, because I feel as though Jack is probably a lil annoying and Ben would be perfect for that. I need that 'The Singer' now.
  8. I'd be down to see how their friendship met its DEMISE
  9. I suggest Angela Bassett for Azealia Banks. The girl can play everything!
  10. I WAS THINKING THE SAME! That video reeked early 2000s.

  12. This reminds me, they used to have a secondhand library in my town, it was such a cute little spot, where you could get really neat finds! But they had to close. It sucks.
  13. Quite literally littering every other thread. Thank you for that swift clean up. x
  14. I ordered 'On The Road' by Jack Kérouac, just received it and will get into it after my semester is done.
  15. I wouldn't say I lost interest in her as an artist, I'm still a hopeful fan and very looking forward to next releases and stuff. But, you do hit the nail when you say that her work has little to no replay value nowadays. I didn't like 'Lust for Life' as an album, but the songs I loved on there, I loved them and I'm still listening to them to this day. On 'NFR'... I'll listen to the title track sometimes even if the opening line is cringy, or sometimes if I feel like it 'Venice Bitch' or 'The greatest', but that's honestly about it.
  16. While I love the song despite its many "white noise" moments and the tinny piano and overall production, this has got to be the cringiest opening line, let alone lyric, in Lana's discography. It's in the same category as "I'm crying while I'm cuming" and "Fuck it I luh yaaa" for me.
  17. Never seen 'Midnight Express', but my dad loves early 80s synth music. So there goes the king, Giorgio Moroder.
  18. I have come to the conclusion that Lana will never release a song that is as transcending, intricate, mesmerizing, ethereal and intoxicating as 'West Coast'—and I'm at peace with that.
  19. Since everyone is talking about that damn monolith, it got me thinking of this. Though the song literally came out a hundred years prior to the movie, I love Kubrick's user of 'The Blue Danube, in '2001: A Space Odyssey'. This scene is nothing short of spectacular. So serene. This one is as equally epic.
  20. I have never really liked 'Mariners Apartment Complex' all that much. Don't get me wrong it's a good song—but in world of 'West Coast', 'Ride', 'The Blackest Day' and even 'Venice Bitch', 'MAC' is the superior song?
  21. 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood' was an alright cover, it was a bit spooky, but overall it was just fine. Though not her best closing track. I wouldn't call it a "low point" per se, not when songs like 'In My Feelings', 'Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind' or 'How to disappear' exist; which are arguably some of her worst songs lyrically, as well as her least interesting production efforts.
