Agree with evilentity. The "like this" button harbours friendship and friendly relations. Furthermore I feel like it blurs the line between "dislike" and "disagree". Previously, if one disagreed with an opinion to show this, it would need to be expressed via comment. This offers an opportunity for civil debate and interesting conversation. Also I just find the whole idea too much like reddit/youtube and the thought of people commenting here being all LOL UPVOTE IF U AGREE makes me roll my eyes a little too hard. Nonetheless, lanaboards is a different sort of community so I'll certainly give this a try.

I'll withhold final judgement until I've tried it for awhile, but I think I'm going to dislike the like/dislike vote up/vote down buttons. I'm concerned it will make LanaBoards a less friendly place and I personally liked the "Like this!" terminology. Also, it seemed to me in past forum experiences that people were more inclined to use "Like this!" systems than reputation points systems.

Live or Die. The amount of people I've made listen to this and watch me dance to it is getting ridiculous and they all make the same face like, "are you on narcotics?"

I strongly recommend the book. Absolutely eye opener. The movie was great and Tilda Swinton did an excellent job but it misses out on some important parts, in my opinion. I feel like you need to read the book before seeing the film. But definitely do both, you'll adore them.

The audience's cries and screams swell as the sliding doors reveal Bill's slim silhouette. He steps out into the brightness of the studio, a grin on his movie-star handsome face and a twinkle in his eye. Bill saunters out, clearly enjoying the effect he has on the frenzied audience members. He approaches Oprah, greeting her with a hug and a whisper in her ear -- "What the fuck? I just find out you're interviewing Sitar too?" -- he leans back, a clenched smile on his face, and give the audiences a wave. The ugly-creying audience errupts with screams.
 
Oprah leans into him, and in a hushed tone says, "I know. I didn't have any fucking choice."
 
To the studio audience and viewers at home, it looks like any other friendly exchange between a guest and host on a talk show. They have no idea. The two address the audience, both forcing smiles as they wave. This is not at all what they wanted.
 

 
"LET'S GET STARTEEEEEEEEEEEEED! Okay Bill, where to begin? How about..."


 
 
 
 

Interview finished, the show cuts to commercial break and the cheerful facade is over.
 
"Fix this!" Bill hisses, his smile replaced with a grimace. He rips off his mic and throws it on the ground, storming out of the studio.

Finally watching this. Mad love for her hiccupy noise in "midnight" during the final chorus. I think this performance was a little boring, sure, but at least her voice sounded good. That's literally all I need to feel comfortable with a Lana performance.
 
I LOVE LOVE LOVE when she has her hair all sleek and professional, perfect makeup, and a sweater. Going on record saying it's my favorite Lana look. Keep this performance look, Lana. Stay perfect.

Why does that matter though? Her cover is a lot more orchestral than some of the older versions and in my opinion she's really put her own spin on it. Not trying to be rude, I just don't really see how it being a cover should impact ones judgement.

My Bloody Valentine are meant to release something by the end of this year but I think Kevin Shields is lying. I want 2 believe.
