album of the year is 84 tho and that one isn’t weighted so it’s actually more fair! It’s got a *must listen* tag on AOTY as well!

I have decided to be happy with the reviews whatever they are. Pitchforks review was less an album review and more a commentary on her as a persona and as a person, though I found it at least mildly interesting.

idk if it’s a whole new album, but on the Twitter post she made with the snippet a fan asked when it was coming and she herself responded “end of March”. Next week seems likely!

I jumped when I saw this thread updated. I check every day to see if she has said anything new. The snippet sounded AMAZING and could be one of her best imo. It’s a bit more mid tempo (which for her is high tempo). I’d heard rumors she was supposed to release something this month (one of them through Ethel Cain’s Twitter) and I’m hoping we get a surprise, but it would also not be a shock for this month to come and go with nothing.

SAME. I ordered the hoodie with violets on it in December and I have not seen hide nor hair of it yet. I had gotten an email saying it was expected at the end of February and then crickets. No hoodie and no further info as of yet. my box set of Chemtrails has in fact shipped but my target edition stuff remains sitting in some warehouse I’m sure.

I know some folks have already mentioned this but my target order for the alt cover stuff isn’t supposed to de delivered until a month from now. Like wtf did I even preorder it for then??? Hopefully the box set arrives sooner. (also I’m still waiting on a violets hoodie I bought as a gift in early December lol)

If it means she’s gonna keep pumping out albums I’m down I’ll take one album of covers ranging from beautiful folk, to Americana, to traditional county, I’ll take one album rife with drama reflecting on her recent controversies, please and thank you.

I hate that I care so much about reviews. That’s got me on the edge of my seat. I know I love the album. I know it’s largely divisive. Now I just wanna know what its album of the year critic and user score will be once it’s been out for a week.

Sick of this orange trees slander. One the only tracks from L+F I would still voluntarily listen to. The backing vocals are heavenly.

I’m intrigued but I’m not excited. I loved melodrama but it kind of aged like milk for me. the songs are good but they feel left in that year if you know what I mean and I never really want to listen to them.

I think post high as hope she said she was takin a little break (good for her but sad for us). She’s the other artist alongside Lana that I get overwhelmingly hyped for her records.
