  1. I feel its kinda hard to say which songs actually were "BTD outtakes" bevause she did so many things in between AKA amd BTD. So I'd go with what is listed on Lanapedia. - Kinda Outta Luck - You Can Be The Bos - Hundred Dollar Bill - Put The Radio On - She's Not Me Other tracks where I'd be unsure whether they would count as outtakes: - Heavy Hitter - Jealous Girl - Us Against The World - In The Sun
  2. I could actually see her dropping a stripped down, simple album this fall with songs in the style of Henry and Country Roads.
  3. I think that was around HM wasn't it?
  4. Definitely Halsey - Badlands Melanie Martinez - Cry Baby
  5. Lolita - The orchestral demo with that sampled bassline is FIRE. The album version is just messy and the definition of overproduced Lucky Ones - Generally feel like it's not her strongest song but the demo definitely feels less bleak and I love the drums. Summer Bummer - Not sure whether it qualifies as a demo, but the version with the humming that was uploaded on YT/ is pressed on some of the vinyls is much more fun. Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems - Album version is basically meaningless and the forced Stevie Nicks feature is terrible. Next Best American Record - Lyric change kinda ruined the vibe, especially since the new ones are so terribly cheesy Thunder - The demo had so much more fire. Also, I really hate how poorly mixed the climax part of the album version is. There are some other demos - the Diet Mountain Dew demo with the additional pre-chorus, the e-guitar heavy National Anthem demo, the demo versions for Freak - which I love but where I kinda understand why they did not end up that way on the album. So I probably like them just as much as the album versions.
  6. Roisin Murphy - CooCool Timber Timbre - Sugar Land Robin Kester - Blinds Mitski - Bug Like An Angel Unloved - I Did It Marta & Tricky - When It's Going Wrong Hope - Navel Chelsea Wolfe - Dusk King Hannah - Like A Prayer And obviously A&W.
  7. No Jack No Country music/ covers More balance between artistic/ experimental choices and a coherent album More boldness, less "stripping songs down"
  8. Did not know I needed this until I read it
  9. No offense but that sounds like tge most cheesy thing ever
  10. Not people saying OB's incoherent mastering is great or an artistic choice šŸ’€ A&W is literally much quieter than any other songs on the album,'s A-side, you always have to awkwardly adjust the volume whrn listening to the vinyl. And then there is the flat sound on tracks like Fishtail, Grandfather or Paris that really impacts these sonh's momentum. The only tracks where I feel like the effect was intentional is Kintsugi and Peppers, fo the rest it's just bad mastering.
  11. I'd take three Nikki Lana collabs over Lana ever featuring that overrated, screachy W*knd guy ever again.
  12. Not really a big fan. Production and vocal delivery are nice, but it just lacks her "Lana magic"
  13. - The reversed vocals in High By The Beach intro (which recurr throughout the track) - The backing vocals of Freak, especially the drama of the last chorus - The scatting in Wait For Life's bridge - The humming in the intro of God Knows I Tried - Backing vocals/ moaning in Sad Girl
  14. Love the HM fringe but can they stop editing her body?
  15. It had great photoshoots, an exciting rollout for Froot, Happy, IAR, Immortal and Forget, fun music videos and a good tour. What's there not to like?
  16. She is a greedy cashgrab. Why would she have a bigger sense of responsibility or conscience than other millionairs? Just look at her private jet record. On the other habd, people are just lunatic when it comes to her basic white girl pop and stan culture has reached a ridiculous level lately.
  17. The only really good collabs she ever did for projects that were not her own will always be Dayglo Reflection, Riverside and Wait For Life. Suburban House is cute too. The rest was either lackluster, forgettable or just really bad. Or not a collab at all cause all she did was backing vox.
  18. Releasing Cola. I remember the moment that first snippet with the infamous Pussy-line was dropped. Such a crazy and wild moment
  19. The "Jimmy" part of AW apparently stems back to the NFR era. Also, I would not rule out that tracks like "Sweet" or "Paris, Texas" had their origin in a previous era
  20. I think it's a lovely autumn track. Their voices really compliment each other. Giving Blue Banisters(album) vibes
  21. That is the same women who insisted she never had plastic surgery while looking like twenty bees stung her lip. Truth is probably somewhere in between - but does it matter anyway?
  22. Thunder, Lolita, Architecture, Pink Champagne, Lucky Ones, Beautiful People, ...
