Can't understand how some people can say LfL is "mature". It's such a step back, both considering the artistic maturity Lana reached on Honeymoon (looking at songs like Lust For Life, Groupie Love or Summer Bummer) aswell as the artistic"authority" she's had on Ultraviolence and HM (considering how she changed BPBPT and LFL to be something completely else just for the lols).

MAC sounds pretty cute, definitly more promising than the HIAB snippet.

But the "cult" will buy no matter what she releases(like a cheap sweater with an ugly emoji that sells for 50 bucks), so why should she put effort into it?

Why do conversations like that always have to be either about "SHE'S SO FAT" when she obviously isn't or "SHE LOOKS SOOO GOOD" when she's definitly not looking her best.

I don't know why she always announces so early/ releases so late. Will result in multiple messy leak situations again and no one will care for the album anymore once it actually comes out - just like with CX2

If she goes synthpop, she should do it in a Shoegaze-ish way a la Chromatics/Blonde Redhead. I don't want an album that sounds like all the shit that's charting atm. There are enough "artists" doing that kind of music, Lana doesn't need to join that bland genre. Could imagine that her work with Jack eds up in a more BTD-ish effort

I hate how Freak and White Mustang are cut in such a super anticlimatic way. If something is "happening" in the music, something should happen in the video aswell. Not nessecarily dancing or lip-sincing, but if there is a chorus, there should be a special scene, or a change in the way the pictures are cut etc. The way thosevideos just go on and on without any "relation" between the pictures and the music is just so meh. Even if they were meant for a different song (BAR, UV), the editor should have put much more effort into the cutting.

Why would they change that? Those works were released under that stage name, there is no point in changing them now just because she changes it for future projects.

It's not bad, but IMO it's not really exciting or interesting either. Feels a bit uninspired and monotonous. Big God and South London Forever are the only tracks I kind of like.

Dua Lipa's music is generic popsh*t for the charts. Nothing artistic or anything but it sells. She's got a nice voice which would have more potential for better music but I guess she gotta pay the rent
