  1. The only thing that makes that title unlikely is that Lana didnt announced herself yet xd
  2. I was thinking about her covering Jubilee Street by Nick Cave and the thought was so powerful I had to share. Imagine COTCC having a similar vibe...
  3. Can't imagine how was her knowing what she was doing to us during NFR prerelease, then. This one is seeming to me almost idylic compared to that torture.
  4. The most amazing thing about the album its that it is itself a visual album with no visuals needed.
  5. She'll be chronicling all the plan in her third poetry book. We'll know the name and the publisher before knowing the date of release of the first or second one!
  6. She is beyond sexy. I was hypnotised when i saw her in the videos of her Lana's friend birthday party.
  7. -man here xd-, not that the rest of her lyrical production isn't cheesy and out of touch most of the time -at least for me, and more from a political perspective (her whole narrative oscilates towards the experiences of a rich, privileged white woman, so not something that discredits that particular song truly)-. I've never been a "fan" of Lana's lyricism, but mostly the opposite. What makes her music magical for me is the experience and emotion she is able to convey no matter the words she is singing, and Coachella is from my point of view a good example for that.
  8. Will never understand the hate towards Coachella (apart from the overproduction that somehow bugs the song). What a beautiful, dreamy song, what an outstanding outro!
  9. Isn't she wearing the outfit from the in FIILY/TG video?
  10. One of my favourite pictures of her. It would have done an amazing cover for NFR, absolutely fitting with the album soundscape and lyrics. Love it. But don't want her to reuse it for COTCC, that would be a lazy (therefore, painfully, somehow probable) way to deal with the release of the album, and we've had enough laziness for the rest of her career with all the rollout of the last one.
  11. I'm starting to picture the album lyrically on the verge of Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino (I mean, the surrealistic criticism on contemporary societies -not that I think that Lana will be even half the writing genius Alex Turner is-) and sonically as a development of the sound she started experimenting with on Venice Bitch, How to Dissapear or Cinnamon Girl... Expecting a complex, obscure and satiric album. But maybe shouldn't, don't know. By the way, do we expect Hey Blue Baby and I Must Be Stupid For Being So Happy to be on the album?
  12. This song is so underrated it physically hurts me. It's erotic Lana on her peak.
  13. If I remember well, he was an attention-seeker teenager who got the album (NFR) earlier by a labels mistake and showcased endlessly his privilege on Instagram without letting anyone listening to the album.
  14. I'm not an american citizen nor I do live there either, yet I'm a social sciences student with certain knowledge on the matter and can't but agree on all you've stated here. That was the point I wanted to reach when I talked about "revolution", I meant: ¿are we in front of some kind of possibility window to a dismantle and reconstruction of what the USA has been and has come to be today? Yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine about the matter and both were speculating on this same terms... Or the revolution happens and triumphs, or the USA under Trump's administration is absolutely likely to become an authoritarian dictatorship, as they will find the juridic, mediatic and politic paraphernalia to make it happen. From what I see in Europe, where I'm from, the public opinion is absolutely in rage about what is happening to the black community, and so China and Rusia have interests on Trump falling, so, maybe are we behind the doors of a true potencial breakdown of the empire?
  15. Hey Been following all this issue by social media, as the media outlets are saying shit about it -at least in the country I leave, they aren't (purposedly, of course) showing the dimension of what's happening in America-. For what I've seen, the clima there is almost revolutionary already. Wanted to ask to the ones of you who live there, ¿is it as severe as it seems?¿is there any real chance that Trump may fall due to the revolts, if they continue and grow? And, of course: all of my support and love to all of the fellows here who belong to the black community or any ethnic minority. And may Trump be burned to his feet.
  16. With all Jeffrey Epstein stuff coming again to light, been wondering about what Lana said about Hope and how it related to terrible things she has seen in the industry yet has to stay quiet about...
  17. This is incredible. Thank you a lot for sharing!

A terrible month regarding the world. Just saw that Trump plans to chase antifascist activists under the pretext of them being "terrorists". Truly wasn't expecting to live what our species are living right now and -worse- what's still to come...

She showed the looters faces, and that puts them in danger as enables police to identify them.

I know that she's the last person to be concerned about right now, but just can't avoid feeling sad about how much a disoriented, isolated and misunderstood she may be feeling. She was almost crying in the last video she uploaded and things have just gotten worse since then. Just hoping that she will elaborate all this from a constructive perspective and finally get how much social responsibility a world known artist as her must live up to.

You know, it's been some 400-500 "harsh and hard" years for black people... Maybe an insignificant nuance, just for you to consider...

This may be the most disturbing, insensitive and ignorant post I've read on the Internet for a long time. Won't get mad at you because you obviously don't understand or know the historical background of what has happened to that man that "just" "died and was a poc". Please, you live in a country where racism is a terribly active force. If you aren't reading a bit about it for the sake of empathy for POC on the USA before articulating words as severe as the ones you just typed here , at least do it in order to understand the context you live yourself inside.
