Unlikely she'll reschedule imo. On the LATTM tour she had to cancel one and promised to reschedule but didn't. I'd imagine that cancelling a whole tour would make it much more difficult to reschedule, with all the different venues etc

Of course she doesn't owe anyone for hotels or flight tickets etc, I was saying that more to emphasize that this isn't like a friend cancelled last minute or like she was doing us a favour - thousands of people have been planning around this for months. They're owed more than an email (the day before in some cases) and automatic refund. Then again, I'm not expecting much seeing as she couldn't be bothered to let her own backup dancers know lol. I'm very, very skeptical that this is the absolute earliest she knew for sure she couldn't make it lol.

Of course people are bringing the narrative of "she doesn't owe you anything!!1!" into this... people paid hundreds for tickets, flights, hotels, cancelling work, etc. We're owed something. We're owed at least a tweet. That's barely anything at all. It's selfish and childish to call off a whole leg of the tour and not mention it on your own social media. She's been hanging out with friends for the past few weeks, not bedridden and on the verge of death, too sick to post.

All the things you're quoting are objective. The fact the golden ratio is a thing is objective, no one is denying that. The fact that the golden ratio has been linked to beauty for millennia is also objective. But whether the golden ratio actually dictates all that is beautiful is very subjective, seeing as beauty is subjective. I feel like you're seeing what you want to see in people's arguments. Beauty isn't comparable to the milky way or gravity. The golden ratio is a guide, not a law. Edit to add: first of all sorry to the mods for going off topic, second of all I think it's completely and utterly disgusting that the holocaust is being compared to the golden fucking ratio. Get some perspective.

Of course not. But if he's upset with her over this, it's a bit ridiculous - I know of relatively small-time YouTubers who get stalked etc even if they move. It's horrible and terrible and completely inexcusable but if this is why she's in California now then idk, it's not her fault that this is happening to him. Their first public outing was papped. Just because something is more popularly valued doesn't make it interesting. The work of Michelangelo is beautiful, and people have thought so for centuries, but it's a copy of a copy of the dreamed up ideal of beauty. I can open up instagram and see bodies that would have made Michelangelo faint and realise that he would never be able to paint something close to that in beauty, but that doesn't make it interesting. Films and shitty netflix series are just recycling the same washed-out ideal of beauty, of a white body, thin and soft if it's a woman, broad and hard if it's a man. The most interesting art, and the art that's the first to be burned by extremist groups, is art that shows different types of beauty in different types of bodies. The people who bullied you were wrong for doing so, and it's understandable that you would start to believe that one type of body is better or more beautiful than another, but the conception of beauty they believed in is a boring simulacrum of beauty that's been done way too many times.

My hope is someone close to her gently pointed out that how gross he is. I hope she's alright.
