When you're getting into In My Feelings and then Roachella suddenly begins

 

'White Mustang' reminds me of the "We could go back to Woodstock" part in 'Ultraviolence' and the "Think I'll miss you forever" part in 'Summertime Sadness'.

Listening to her magnus opus aka Ultraviolence never gets old. I'll never get sick of it

Oh man. All I did was say that someone made a good point about white washing hip-hop and this is what I get 
 
1. When did I ever say it was the biggest racial issue?
2. Which label did I put on you (or anyone)?
 
I know it's not the most comfortable thing to talk about race, but it's an important conversation to have. Because yes, big racial issues like gentrification do intersect with music, culture and society. If you'd just have an open mind and not get so scared when people mention race, then maybe we could have a real discussion about this. You can PM me if you want, I'm still learning but I'd be happy to teach what I know<3 For now, I'm leaving this conversation though because it's counterproductive and you seem to be getting upset and there are better things to do than get mad online

I hope BPBP sounds like a mix between Dreams (Fleetwood Mac) and Brooklyn Baby or something like that

cherry is the second best song from this era so far imo, it's sexy and it's fun

I just watched the album trailer and my wig was snatcheddd! I honestly think it's the best thing that's came out of this era so far. The creepiness, the music, the magick, the sci fi aesthetic, the monologue, the cute little bow in her hair. It's so good!!   It's a shame the rest of the era didn't really live up to it

I wouldnt mind FJM on the album, but its a fairly obvious choice too. Some of you want this album to be white as fuck.

#2 the more she talks about yosemite the more i fall in love with it, i know its wrong to have high expectations and force yourself to be let down but every time she describes it- it's literally adjectives that speak to my desert running vintage acoustic ass. Like the perfect song you find in an old town boutique during twilight before a dust storm vibes while you're on the patio drinking glass bottle coke

She looks beautiful and there are some really nice shots in this. Liked the interview with Stevie--or at least, interesting to hear what they had to say, even though it felt a little stilted (Stevie: I think this about this thing...Lana: I agree, me too).
Really can't say I agree, like at all, about the whole self-editing thing so that every single piece you put out is 100% positive vibes only. Especially if she wants to make a socially aware album, this idea of "everything's gonna be okay you guys" thing, in this current age, feels very risky. It's just very easy, when you are rich and white and have access to multiple homes and millions of dollars and a group of high-profile, rich friends and can spend your days having fun at clubs and lavish birthday parties, to write something that comes across as "things are gonna be okay...for ME--so good luck to the rest of y'all." 
Negativity isn't an inherently bad thing. It can help bring out problems, address issues, be a motivation for change. It can also be a really powerful way to unite people who are in pain and want to know they aren't alone in their struggles. Positively culture is just completely one-dimensional, as well as horribly alienating to anyone who doesn't have a natural "go get em!" type attitude, and/or to those with mental health struggles or just really large struggles in general that need to be processed. 
I'm not advocating for artists to make really dark, hopeless pieces of art (though they can if they wish), but if you are artificially altering your responses to your own experiences ("self-editing") you are gonna be hard pressed to find people who can genuinely connect with that. 

When you already accepted the fact that "Yosemite" is probably not in the album
and Lana says is her favorite track on the record

Yosemite walking to the album tracklist only to find the door locked

Lana all ready to release the album then she remembers that she forgot to put Yosemite on there

Only this shitty fandom would complain about an interview done by Stevie fucking Nicks.
