I don't get the hate for "Terrence loves you". I love that song. It's probably the best (promotional?) single of this era she released yet imo. I mean, it's not catchy as "High by the beach", but it's definitely amazing after a few listens.

After listening to HM and now thinking about it clearly rather than having my fan girl googles on I can honestly say that HM is well okay.Its just a typical Lana track and its quite boring tbh
 
Yeah the production and Lana's vocals are sumptuous.There's no doubt that Lana has definitely gone in the right direction there.Its just the lyrics and flow of the whole track that bothers me.Its verging on the point of parody sometimes.The -your a bad boy but I'll love you no matter - troupe is getting really old now but however I really hope that Lana dump some of the over used troupes this era.
 
That leads to one of my theories that the reason why Lana has given us the track so early is because she's ending this version/persona of Lana Del Rey (Hollywood,Drugs,Bad Boys etc) with the Honeymoon track itself and the rest of the album will explore the new "Other" Lana's new jazzy,surrealist,futureretro persona...

Jesus fuck I'm so hyped. The poem is beautiful. I love discovering her cultural inspirations and I love when she uses them in her own work. Can't wait to see what she's going to do with it. I'm feeling this era so hard

no they are really not. It is FACT that H*lsey (stupid fucking name by the way) is completely unoriginal and had repurposed and plagiarised from other artists. It was only opinion that lana was "fake" mainly because of her lips

I don't feel that HM is a repeat of the BTD-Paradise sound. The production is stripped back and the emphasis is on her voice.  Yes, there are strings but the music is way sadder, it makes my soul weep. The song requires some patience to really enjoy it so I kind of understand the people who don't like it. This is closer to clasical music than anyting she put out yet. I really like the jazz infusions. The lyrics became secondary to the somber vibe of the music and is a good thing for me because I wasn't a fan of the lyrics (if the lyrics would match the sound HM would resemble some of the Swans songs). 
 
I think that the way that she released the song, on her YT account without a professional lyric video, suggests that there will not be any promo this time besides the videos that she shot already. I don't expect any interviews since she's constantly informing us on her instagram about her process of making the album. She seems to isolate herself from the press as she did it during her tour. Maybe she's finally getting fed up with them and I'm with her on that. She doesn't care about her commercial viability and she clearly choose to step back from mainstream exposure. I don't even fancy her being played on the radio or singing on late-night shows. (imagine her singing HM after a brouhaha with some idiot talk show host who will ask her about SNL or why she named a song about DMD)
 
What is interesting that I didn't found any mentioning on her YT account that the song it's released under the licence of her label Interscope or Polydor. I think that this era will be a turning point in her career as it seems like she is forcing things to happen in a certain way. She seems totally in control of the release and this means little or no label support, just Lana and us and I'm here for it

It's so Lynchian and I love it so much. I love the idea of this bring the opening track and the rest of the album sounding like that hauntingly beautiful outro. Lana has somehow outdone herself again

I don't know what the video of the small orchestra is for, but it sounded beautiful

The vocal harmonies and psychedelic pop sound of the snippets remind me of that.

OK but I would KILL for AFFA to be on honeymoon tbh. Paradise we got yayo, UV we got black beauty, its not that far off tbh. But imo AFFA fits the aesthetic of the album(judging for the HM lyrics and snippets) and I would love for it to be a bonus track (mostly because I NEED it on vinyl) [also I don't want it to be re-done its perfect already].

The way she described this record makes it feel as if she has put special effort to it and I don't know...this time I have the feeling it's going to be different. We'll see though!

I am excited it is most likely going to be a 5+ minute long song (hopefully), as the first verse and the chorus alone were a minute and fifty seconds long, so when we add up the others, the bridge, and the instrumentation I can definitely see it as a long one
