  1. Wow my current obsession meets my 12 year strong obsession. We love it here. I am going to see FDC in 2 weeks - thrilled. Romance, their album, is my AOTY. And yes, In The Modern World is so Lana-coded, designed to eventually have her join them onstage on vocals. I hope it happens! And I hope she sees this.
  2. Stan Twitter discovered the royals’ existence a month ago and have lots of feelings about it lol.
  3. their album is virtually sold out so not surprised! but good for Lana
  4. Not gonna listen to the leak but maybe she should just cut her losses and release the album early. She’s going to lose to Tool the week of 8/30 anyway.
  5. Hi guys, Love the song, avoiding the mess hahaha. Wondering how this year is gonna go. Just wanted to say that Lana is eligible for more RIAA certifications: Platinum for UV, and Gold for Honeymoon and LFL. Also BTD is at like 3.5m, so really might almost qualify for Quadruple Platinum which is wild! I hope she cares enough to collect these.
  6. Haven't been on here in ages. But love the new tracks and so happy to see our girl free. I really don't think she cares at all anymore about charting, commercial expectations, relevancy. She's just going to do what she needs to do and she trusts she has a hardcore fanbase who will follow her. And we will.
  7. Or Shirley Manson. Shirley would absolutely do it, and there's no question that Garbage has impacted Lana's music. I'd like to see that come together in a formal way.
  8. Did anyone else get two codes from the Lana store? I assume it's because I bought it on two formats. This means I may have a code to share - will keep you posted.
  9. 2nd week sales predictions: While Billboard still hasn't posted this week's charts (while ours was finalized on Friday), we've got a preview of the next Top 20. Arcade Fire will be #1 on both our SPS and Sales charts, and the only debut to make the top 20 this week. *Arcade Fire (Columbia) 90-95k SPS, 85-90k Sales Kendrick Lamar (TDE/Interscope) 42-47k, 10-12k Jay-Z (Roc Nation) 36-40k, 16-18k Meek Mill (Atlantic) 33-36k, 8-10k DJ Khaled (We the Best/Epic) 31-34k, 2-4k 21 Savage (Slaughter Gang/Epic) 28-31k, 2-4k Ed Sheeran (Atlantic) 27-30k, 8-10k Descendants 2 (Walt Disney) 27-30k, 19-21k French Montana (Bad Boy/Epic) 26-29k, 1-2k Imagine Dragons (Kidinakorner/Interscope) 26-29k, 9-11k Lana Del Rey (Interscope) 25-28k, 9-11k Tyler, The Creator (Odd Future/Columbia) 24-27k, 4-6k
  10. Surprised no one has pointed out how Lana is likely paying (genius) homage to a Neil Young classic on Get Free. "Out of the blue and into the black You pay for this, but they give you that And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black. "
