Songs like Motel 6 Vicarage and Caught You Boy have always felt like Lizzy Grant songs in my mind while Us Against The World felt so clearly Lana. So naturally I thought they were done in different years. Wrong- I found out they we're all recorded by the rurals in 2010 and probably all from the same batch I don't know how I never picked up on the similar productions between all of them. From production alone its clear they were done at the same time but it just didn't register in my mind Also I love The Rurals and how they recorded all those songs. They feel so nostalgic to me and I love all the songs they touched

My thoughts This album is absolutely incredible, the sheer power in every track. I personally think the album is very cohesive and kinda builds its own grand and beautiful world which I felt was lacking in the last several albums. I get everyone disliked the side D tracks but personally I think they work perfectly on the album, especially at the end. It leaves the album on such a fun and good note, on what would otherwise be just a very heavy emotional record. Every track really makes a statement and my only real complaint is the lack of Zodiac, the deranged rocker anthem, as track 5.. because yes, I would delete Judah Scuffed Interlude from existence if I had it my way But thats my only complaint. I lied, I just lied to you, I don't like Margret that much but its cute so it gets a pass. Fingertips is also one of my new favorite Lana songs. The melody and the orchestration is just gorgeous and the lyrics are absolutely tragic yet breathtaking. Its a beautiful gift and I'm so glad she shared it with us. I also absolutely love Let The Light In, The Grants, Sweet, A&W, Fishtail, Peppers, imjustgonnaenduplistingthewholealbum, Candy Necklace.. like this album is a classic and I hope everyone recognizes it as that

My favorite covers are probably Pop 2/N1A, absolute classics. I just love how sleek they are and how perfectly they match their respective albums. I hate the cover for Charli (seems like a universal opinion ) Its the grey isn't it The kool aid dipped hair too just wasn't it (also the weird limp ass tentacle thing) She had a vision in mind but it feels moot, but ig it kinda reflects the album in that sense Also as much as I love True Romance, its packaging is so of its time. I was excited when Charli was thinking about reshooting a new cover for the album (which never happened ) cause its so dated. The effects, the font, the aesthetic, like I guess it matches the vibe of the album but I still think the visuals could be better. Its not awful though! and Charli cover is worse by tenfold

Oh my god thank you for this, it captures something different from the released version like wow what a serve I'm sure she'll add them on the sister album! they'll totally be on there!! I remember when she first started writing Atropa/MIMA she said she had 11 demos/concepts written and made it seem like the album was coming very soon after (that was in 2020 ) and, I forgot about this, she later shared a screenshot of the demos she had recorded and it had like 16 files I wonder how many of those actually made it onto Atropa Belladonna and how many of those tracks made it through the rework with MIMA.. I hope she uses the scrapped material for this other album cause if not
