Okay wow I just really poured my heart and soul into that i-

so who's gonna do god's work and leak the instrumentals 

90+ pages consisting of basically nothing but praise - what an album!

the title track is one of the best 
 
the opening strings foreshadowing the chorus melody, the loose piano, the witty lyrics (ICONIC), the brass, the high notes like the heavenly BLUUUEEE at the end 
 
perfect opener 

Okay so it's a cool sunny Sunday so I'll go to one of my favorite places, lay by the river and listen to Norman during golden hour.
 
This is where I used to go everyday with my ex    Haven't been there since we broke up in May.
 

 

 

 

I love those lyrics a lot, and I think they come from the fact that the song is so desperate; it has this "I'll leave everything behind just for you" mood so the not-so-thoughtout lyrics make absolute sense and they shine for that.

I never really loved BAR but this album version transcends me. I do agree with the fact it's a climax on the album (and I can't understand how it can be called a 'calm' song).
 
This album is a masterpiece and I hope it will leave its mark in music.

i think thats the second prechorus, but regardless, i love that part so much too

while i enjoy those lyrics more, i think the new ones fit and change the perspective, due to the song being right after california
i meant the glass shattering part, specifically, not the whole song. Although the greatest has a relatively substantial build up, the perspective feels different: bare, nihilistic, etc. which segways into Bartender, HIAB, and Hope. Like the mood shifts after the final chorus of TNBAR, if that makes sense

These Songs are God Tier for me and like a 11 out of 10

Do you guys think this could be another Mtwbt/Honeymoon situation? Because if I remember correctly Honeymoon was first titled Mtwbt. So do you think the album title will change bc White Hot Forever is in an early stage (I guess). I hope she doesn't change the Title. I get Hot Summer days and Lizzy vibes from it

I lit rally created my account when i saw this thread had been created after only lurking on the previous pre-release, so i just gotta say White Hot Forever sounds like a cock-destroying and world-saving magic spell that can only be cast by baddie witches with heart-shaped butts, and i love it. I predict a lot of collabs, though i'd rather they were few and far between so i really hope i'm wrong...

I think I won't be able to rank the songs for at least one month, I keep switching favorites like every two hours
