This Jack hate has been going on for over 50 pages, aren’t ya’ll bored of hating yet im not concerned about how RCS is going to sound based on what she’s doing right now because if the album is done, these songs are already done this is probably a closer reflection on how the second album/cover album/Nikki album is going to sound rather than RCS

I honestly figured she probably was when I saw Nikki holding(smoking?) a cigarette I know I had a terrible time stopping when the people I surrounded myself with also smoked

Everyone is acting so surprised she’s smoking a cigarette as if she didn’t sing “so I smoke cigarettes” on her latest album she looks so good! I’m glad that despite the (possible, we’re assuming) breakup, she’s still hanging with her girlfriends enjoying life

I mean I could be wrong but after QFTC she posted that picture of him in the studio on FaceTime and I thought she mentioned working together that way before

well that was almost a year ago..I’m sure by now they’ve worked something out..plus we’ve seen that they work together via video calls it’s not super unlikely Lana has gone to a studio and recorded vocals for Jack, or Zach might be sending some songs for Jack to work on (although I would highly prefer Zack only)

that’s how I took it too, he will be returning but he’s not producing RCS or there will be at least a second producer. While NFR isn’t my cup of tea, COTCC really hit all the spots so I’m not complaining if he comes back

maybe it is a win then!!

I haven’t seen anything to suggest Jack is producing it so far seems like baseless rumors

Unless there’s another tweet, I didn’t see Jack mentioned anywhere! It’s weird because one interview said she wanted louder instrumentals and another interview said they kept taking instrumentals away until it was as minimal as could be

Under the replies of the tweet that ‘confirmed’ RCS is an album, he said “she said she’s working on new music already” Unless she meant RCS is done AND she’s working on new new music but it’s very hard to tell with Lana..I took it as ‘RCS is still on and she’s working on new songs for it’ but that might not be the case! June 1st was not mentioned on the plus side if it is coming out so soon we almost have to be getting news soon

I think the fact that she said she’s still working on new songs confirms it’s not coming June 1st. If she’s still working on new songs they aren’t going to be ready to be pressed in less than 2 months along with videos, photo shoots, and everything else that comes with a new era

He created his account like 2 weeks ago, he’s obviously a troll @Elle already warned him to stop body shaming let her take care of it

I do think it’ll happen, but it’s very very unlikely they’ve set a date yet (or at least a concrete one).. anytime it’s brought up (live like last night or in magazine interviews) they’ve been very vague “we’ve been working on songs that should come out eventually” assuming RCS is still on for June 1st, I can see this being a fall/winter/early 2022 album

if they were working on it the same time they made BUS it’s possible Jack did it. If they were working on it in November when Lana tweeted about working on two albums, Zach most likely helped with it, but it’s super possible Nikki knows producers and they went to someone else. I would be okay with any of those options. Jack KILLED BUS and I wouldn’t mind a whole album in the same vein. Zach would be perfect for a more country/blues sound, and whoever Nikki knows has probably worked with her before and knows what she wants/likes

While this makes the most sense I always hoped one album she was talking about was the cover album I know a lot of people want to say “cover album cancelled!” But she did just talk about it in a recent interview so I still have hope. Maybe she doesn’t consider it an album since it’s all covers? Maybe she didn’t consider her dual album with Nikki as an album? so many questions that will probably never be answered

I’m still super confused how BUS came to be, and Lana and Nikki BOTH telling two different stories is confusing story one, Nikki wrote it and gave it to Lana. story two, they were hanging out, Nikki said “breaking up slowly” and Lana sang “Is a hard thing to do” and they wrote the song together

yeah but by then she had only the one album announced! And she had just released LMLYLAW which she also (aside from Twitter) called her ‘next album’

The way she flat out says “I don’t wanna be here but can’t say no to Nikki” And then randomly announces another album sis doesn’t do good under pressure

I’m super exited about this!! I loved the mood and instrumental of BUS, the live performance from last night’s instrumentals were really nice too!! I’m not a super big fan of their live vocals together (as others have said, they do kinda clash) but BUS studio was super good and their vocals blended perfectly this is obviously not RCS since Lana would have said ‘our new album RCS’ since she’s already announced it. I love the chaos of having two pre-release threads though, but I still want RCS to be out in June.
