I mean I’ve seen pleeeeenty of heat with celebs/politicians who defy covid rules and travel/party, but of course the celeb being targeted on Lanaboards is Lana Hawaii needs to go independent and stop all tourism and travel like NZ, they’d be miles ahead than the rest of the US. If more people are getting the new variant more on actual continents its best to try to contain it

Plastic Hearts has been my go to album to play all the way through on my Monday morning deliveries every song managed to find a place in my Apple Music 2020 playlist too which was super surprising since the album just came out in November

I agree! I love the song for its separate parts but when it all comes together it feels so disjointed! Every snippet she posted made me love it more and more and more (it was my most anticipated song) and then we got the song and it could have been broken into separate parts and used as little interludes or something

Why is she not referring to her projects by name lately?? Chemtrails has been “my/the album” since at least LMLYLAW dropping, and has been called out by name maybe 5 times, and tonight she referred to BTIG as “the next book”

my only hope is that she wasn’t planning on doing much more anyway because the album is completely done and there has to be a plan for it..maybe she’s just dropping everything midnight Monday and leaving it at that and not really talking about it..everything she’s had to do promo wise (magazines especially) are probably already done

I hope she didn’t mean right away but she literally says “it’s time to compile the next book now” that sounds pretty much like right away

I definitely think Monday is gonna be when everything drops like she said, but I’m nervous that the album’s release date is gonna be further away than we thought I just don’t get why she’d announce the next book and her disappearing for awhile right before the era rollout is officially starting (unless she’s just dropping the single and the album really is about 5/6 months away still)

I’m so conflicted internally because I’m super excited for the poetry and have said before how much I can’t wait for it... but.. I really wish she would have at least let COTCC have its moment. Violet took over during NFR, she (finally) rolled it out after announcing Chemtrails, and now she’s mentioning her new book before the COTCC era even starts like Her OG release date for BTIG was March so I can see it coming around then (especially if she’s finishing it up now) and I can’t wait to see how it ties into Chemtrails but just once it’d be nice to have a solid rollout without another project being brought up okay, meltdown over

I agree! I’m sure there’s some kind of pressure, but at the same time I feel like it’s a gray area to tell an artist when something has to be out and would risk having the project being rushed (though that’s probably not the case here since she’s (probably) in the final stages now of getting the work to flow) I’m trying to be positive but this really put a damper on my hype..how you about to drop the video and a preorder and announce beforehand that you’re about to disappear....

I’m having major NFR flashbacks to when she was supposed to be releasing an album but she went all Violets mode and ended up delaying both projects I love Violets but....why why is she doing this 6 days before her single drops she should have posted that three pictures from yesterday one day at a time and then this at least after the single drops she gives her art no time to breath

I agree!! She called Violets a compilation and if she’s compiling the next book now all the poems must be done and she’s trying to figure out how it all flows!

well..... I said she’d be silent again, I didn’t expect to be taken so literally Maybe Chemtrails album is dropping next Friday! That way it’s released and she doesn’t have to worry about it and can move on to the book

LFL is probably my favorite album RIGHT behind UV, like almost tied for 1st the last quarter is kinda questionable (minus Get Free and Heroin) literally everything about that album is my whole 2017. Got broken up right before Love leaked/dropped so cried constantly to it. Got back together by title track (my bf is back and he’s cooler than ever) GL is one of my fave Lana songs. The album came out on my (now ex again)’s birthday. Like plus I bought the signed CD and it stayed in my car the rest of 2017 so it’ll always hold a special place in my heart and it’s not cohesive and the album photo shoots were lacking, but song wise I don’t get how so many people don’t like it

The last pic she took with a fan she just had a brace (I think that’s the right word for it) on and all the pictures she posted of herself either her arm is covered or hidden..I’m sure she didn’t stop wearing it you can also kinda see it in the pic of them in the ocean edit: also, mess at her reposting happy so now her IGTV section is the animation twice...wonder what the point was
