these songs aren't bad per se but nothing sounds original mood ring > the path

she's truly brave with these extended release dates knowing damn well it's going to leak

the music she made with with david kahne is untouchable. AKA seems to be dubbed her worst project production wise but i cant help be in awe when listening to it, the music paints some beautiful imagery behind the rather dark subject matter and i don’t think i’ve ever heard another album similar to it. i hope the remaining tracks they worked on appear soon, nobody will ever be able to recreate that greatness.

blue banisters is cute for a deep cut but the other 2 songs released along side her and the new snippet had much more of an impact for me, it just doesn't sound album defining like a title track should.

the attention to detail in this album the title track is instantly my SOTY

it's killing me knowing that this music could be held captive for the next 3 years or so

this album evokes so much emotion, it’s like a rollercoaster in the best way possible. people don’t appreciate it as much because it lacks the sense of a “body of work” all her other albums have but i appreciate that there’s something for everyone in this and i feel like every section of it transitions well into the next. the wide variety of genres represents each emotion she’s trying to convey from the aggression of cherry, white mustang and in my feelings accompanied by the hard hitting hip hop beats to the shoe-gaze inspired whimsical production of tomorrow never came, heroin, get free which represent escapism and letting go of the past. as a whole the album feels like it’s a symbol of liberation and i always look back at having good memories with it.

the lyrics are really moving some parts of the melody sound like hope is a dangerous thing and wild at heart, which both share melodic similarities. venice bitch also shared a similar melody to lorde's writer in the dark so jack is just recycling i fear

heroin. perfect combination of her beautiful storytelling that reflects her personal life and cultural references

this actually makes a lot of sense, the loser and man-child comparisons seem parallel and she's never really belittled a guy in her song other than in my feelings and nfr. calling him a poet and saying "your poetry's bad" could also be a subliminal metaphor for his raps that he presumably writes.
