  1. there’s something about gen z that thinks we can fix all our problems by signing petitions. people just want to be included in something that ultimately serves no purpose.

  5. glamorizing little mundane things like gas stations, street names, car rides, beverages, christmas lights, et cetera. lana can make anything sound captivating and i think that's a cool way to look at life.

  11. aka - sonic, most american fast food place i can think of. specifically midwest. born to die - mcdonalds, universally loved. paradise - taco bell, latina cosplay. ultraviolence - five guys, quality. the gift that never stops giving. honeymoon - olive garden, italian cosplay. lust for life - in n out, retro aesthetic and very californian. norman fucking rockwell - panera bread, food comes in small portions but very acclaimed. chemtrails over the country club - some indie cafe in southern los angeles. blue banisters - subway, something for everyone.
  12. it's just funny cause she has absolutely nothing to gain from him, working with dr. luke in 2022 is not a good business opportunity for a trans woman lmao??? if she was actually getting hits from working with him then i'd sort of understand why she wouldn't want to part ways, but she hasn't even had an entry on the bubbling under chart. and to say we don't know her personally or what goes on behind the scenes when she clearly gets off on being controversial. she's not just someone who's associated with a bad person, she's a bad person herself and she loves the attention it brings.
  13. i always wonder if kim's beats are made specifically for her or if they're like katy perry leftovers the ep sucks tho. this is supposed to be her like slutty sex bop side project but the album seems to be in the same vein just with a french aesthetic? era 1 and clarity are pop excellence, even the visuals she was serving were great. idk what she's doing anymore.

future nostaglia was never for me, i liked levitating and break my heart when the album leaked but that's about it. i'm guessing her next album is going to be early 00s inspired, like gwen stefani and nelly furtado, she could totally pull it off. i'd sell my soul to her if she could revive that sound for the gp
  15. new lana album ranking just dropped 1. Norman Fucking Rockwell 2. Blue Banisters 3. Lana Del Ray AKA Lizzy Grant 4. Ultraviolence 5. Lust for Life 6. Honeymoon 7. Born to Die 8. Chemtrails Over the Country Club 9. Paradise i don't dislike any of her projects my ranking really depends on which ones i'm listening to the most
  16. i’d probably ask why hasn’t she released aka then she’d laugh and be like “that’s a great question.. i’ve been wondering that myself.”
  17. not to be dramatic but this episode really did feel so real. i was so captivated towards the end, it didn’t even feel like i was watching a show, i was so stressed for rue just thinking of what laurie might’ve done to her makes me cringe. i don’t think i can handle a human trafficking plot.
  18. yes to heaven is a bore. none of the production changes make it more interesting than the previous version and lyrically it brings nothing new to her discography she hasn’t covered before.
  19. this episode definitely lived up to the hype, probably the best episode since the carnival episode. so glad rue finally clocked jules even tho she was just doing it to deflect. only thing is i wish maddy found out about nate and cassie a different way, cause their relationship is pretty much the biggest storyline this season and the revelation to maddy felt brushed over cause the episode was so focused on rue.
  20. i've been streaming the fuck out of bb this year so i'm not desperate for new music it would be cool if she did some hooks for rappers throughout the drought tho
