lmao the poem is so vapid and shallow and just. it's bad
i'm happy lana has gotten to a very comfortable place in her life, but it's become clear that she is not stimulated or challenged in any way. her lyrics are lazy. her visuals are lazy (that's being kind). her art has undoubtedly regressed. given that, it's incredible that the music still sounds good and the lyrics are okay, but come on. go listen to anything pre-LFL. nothing she puts out compares. she's wasting away in LA and seems to have surrounded herself with yes-men.

Lana’s poem is like... above average at best for a kid in a college or high school English class. Her words sound vapid without melody and song structure to give them emotion. If writing this poetry helped her collect her thoughts and focus her lyricism, then I think it’s great that she’s doing this poetry as it is instrumental in the creation of NFR. As a stand alone piece of art, the poem is very forgetiable.

    Lets be real?

    MAC: good lyrics, cute production
    VB: awesome production, awful lyrics
Hope: non existent production, some cringey lyrics

Lana lost her touch a little bit. Not completely, but a little, and thats the tea.

Ya'll crazy right?? Her music and lyricism has definitely dwindled since her UV days. LFL and NFR have basic medicore production. It just sounds like muffled noise with cheap beats over it. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of songs on LFL and I love MAC and VB, but her earlier stuff was stellar and iconic. Her latest stuff sounds painfully basic. It's not rich in sound, there's no storytelling as compelling as OTTR and Black Beauty - none. Even if your opinion is the complete opposite to mine, I can't take anyone seriously if you say her latest stuff is better.

Changed, yes, but her music is in no way more mature. Half the songs from Lust for Life could have been written by a teenager. Songs like Heroin, 13 Beaches, and more recent tracks like Hope? Those songs I would never call childish or vacuous. But she was writing equally "mature" songs at 21 as well.

I can always count on my girl Yung not to be afraid of the 12 year olds here who follow Lana like she's a prophet. The poem reads like a third grade writing assignment. The only reason why they're enjoying it is because it's Lana. They're pushing for this "oh she is the next world poet, get her into the writer's hall of fame, Lana is the most serious artist of our generation" and it's like uhhhhh That ship sailed a long time ago when Lana started rhyming blue with you. I love her to death, but I'm sick of the gays always over exaggerating everything. I'm glad she wrote a poem, but it is NOWHERE NEAR close to the greats like Walt Whitman, Maya Angelou, Sylvia Plath, etc. I know this is going to get quoted with "you're too stupid to understand true art! You dumb mother fucker! Lana is the greatest poet that ever lived! You can feel the emotions in her writing! You must be blind" and I'm ready to laugh. They get REALLY irritated when you try and burst their bubble of delusion because their self deception is the only thing leading them towards enjoying some of the mediocre stuff Lana has been putting out. But yeah, I'm proud of Lana, hopefully her subject matter improves. I'd be down if she took a writing class. It'd be the best thing she could do, because she has alot of potential, it's just a matter of sifting through the coal to find the diamond. Can't wait for all the quotes from the young twinks saying hateful things like comparing me/making fun of physical illnesses such as being deaf, blind, or mentally challenged!

Does lana actually genuinely think she's not a rich person? Like yeah yeah I get the money but still sad thing, but this poem is actually just literally laughable if lana is trying to pretend she's not a multi millionaire

I kinda wish she'd be more experimental like during the Lizzy Grant / Del Ray eras. I know she has a defined sound as Lana Del Rey but she's established and she can afford to take more risks.

I'm hyped for NFR and I'm ready for the laidback hazy acoustic vibes (and surf / rock undertones) she'll serve this time around. But for LDR7 I wouldn't mind some more Trash Magic or Disco vibes. Mermaid Motel and Raise Me Up stand out too.

Visually, they're green. Sonically they're blue. Melodically they're hazel.

Lana looks terrible with botox and fillers..llike a hamster. Most agree she looks amazing without it. Natural looking. I don’t get how she thinks it makes her look better, I guess she feel pressure to look like other celebs. When she got her lips done I thought it was OK but she’s taken it too far.

it looks like her cheeks have gone down and aren't stuffed up like a turkey thank god she looks great..I really hope when NFR era and promotions start she doesn't feel the need to visit her dermatologist and get them pumped up again   having a skinny face and big lips is the LOOK, I love how sharp and structured her face is without filler and botox, I notice Lana's face fluctuates SO much, sometimes she'll look so Young and Beautiful™ like her old self and then other times she'll go from looking like alieen wuornos to a pumped up middle aged real housewife, it's very interesting.
