Rarely have I been able to say RELATABLE QUEEN so honestly.

Well, the song 'Born to Die' starts with the spiritual (in the sense of spiritual music) line 'Feet don't fail me now'. And Off To the Races includes Not even to start with things like 'I Talk To Jesus' and all the cult references in Ultraviolence, as well as the Garden of Eden being the central metaphor of the Tropico movie. She's been on about religion for a long long time.

I wish we could like posts more than once. I can't believe how much modern music fans act like it's 1985, and when a song you hate becomes a hit, you have to either suffer through it or turn off the radio. There is literally nothing easier to ignore today than a hit song. At worst, there will be a twitter trend you have to spent 0.3 seconds scrolling past.

That's usually how it works when there's a prize - the company gets to use your art as much as they want, although I'd want clarification on this, as well as what happens to the entries that don't win anything. (Some particularly scummy companies have also profited off the 'place getters' in competitions, but I'm hoping LDR Village isn't going to stoop to that.) Aside from that, I'm excited to see what fans come up with!

I found this video and thought people might enjoy it, despite the dorky guy hosting.

You do realise that all words are made up, right? (That said, I agree that 'femcel' is one of the worst of them).

The appeal is that it takes four seconds, and no musical talent or knowledge at all, to create. -

I just saw these legends a couple of weeks ago, and pretty much most of their songs fit the bill. 'Everyday' - Cash Savage and the Last Drinks (Live at RRR) -
Thanks for collecting these, but I really think this runs too deep to just be an album cover/concept. It's more like a lifelong passion.

They want her to wear Gucci to a chilli cook off. -
I'm always amazed that there are Lana fans who have never heard Video Games.

Alright! One of half a dozen or so records I have on cassette, LP and CD. I should give it a spin.

I'm a massive fan. They were one of those bands where at the time, every release was better than the last one. The 'Dog' album is still one of my favourites from the whole grunge era.

What was the video? It's coming up as unavailable for me.

Well, I'm excited ...

This is a great podcast, and thanks to your recommendation a little while ago, I listened through the archives. Unfortunately, Tom's going through some health issues at the moment, so they're on semi-hiatus, but hopefully they'll be back soon \m/

I have extreme mood swings when it comes to both Baz and Elvis - the movies/music I like, I really, REALLY like, and the work I don't like I can't stand at all - but I'll take this thread as another in the 'pro' column

OK, this made me laugh.
