it says my status is 'Requested', but I can see her posts. Am I in?

I think anyone who know you at all from here would know that you're not the stalker type. There's always creeps around.

I'm finding this discussion on who deserves to release a vinyl record pretty funny. I remember the switch over from vinyl/cassette to CDs, and even though it was pre-internet, there was still endless discussion in record stores about "what's the point of <insert local band> releasing their record on CD? They only have a few hundred fans!" and, on the other side from vinyl purists who didn't want to switch over to CD, "I'll bother getting a CD player when <insert obscure 60s band> gets released in that format. Until then, CDs are worthless." It was four years after I first sat down in the lush living room of the one guy at school who had a CD player, and listened to 'Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms' (considered the ultimate audiophile record at the time), that my family got their first CD player.

All their records are amazing, and I'd also recommend their 'spin-off' band, Damon and Naomi

I'm always recommending them, and it looks like their records are on Spotify in Australia at least. If you can't get them , message me and I'll see if I can dig up my rips. The Paradise Motel - Bad Light.

Because I will never be able to afford this, I made my own version which will have to do.

No problem! I don't even remember hearing about the different version, so your question made me learn something -

Lanapedia says that it was recorded by Diana Vickers, but cut from her record after it leaked. This version is extremely close in arrangement to the version we know from Lana. -

Kevin McPherson is a working musician who has always kept a low profile. He's not the type of person/professional to start talking shit publicly about Lana. -
Next she'll be telling us that Santa's not real.

In a way, it's perfectly Lana. You think you're an influencer jumping on a trend and making a cute video with a naughty word in it, but really you're spreading this sad song about family saving you from depression. It must feel intensely strange for Lana to see this stuff, but that's what happens when the most important music app is run for and by children.

The only thing that's going to top two dogs is three dogs. -
Can we please take the other discussion to a different thread? As for her 5 Points contract, remember the first rule of being a Lana fan. She's a poet, she's a star, she's a genius and a beauty, but if you're after the facts details, you need to go elsewhere. This is a great interview about her first contract that unfortunately not enough people know about. https://www.mtv.com/news/2695337/lana-del-rey-first-album-5-points-records-interview/ (I edited this post because I realised that a lot of people understand the word 'facts' to be equivalent to 'truth', whereas I mean it to refer to specific numbers, dates, and details. I definitely didn't mean to imply that she's lying.)
