It has to be much better for Lana to make vague and uninformed comments about space and technology, rather than about politics.

At the risk of being the most boring guy on the internet ... the Church of Satan (who are behind 'The Satanic Witch') and the other groups that troll the world with 'Satanic ...' whatever are different groups. The Church of Satan are a group of dummies who at different times have aligned themselves with neo-Nazis and other scumbags. The rest are mostly outgrowths of reddit sub-forums. Most people who follow or have an interest in the Church of Satan ignore the Boyd Rice connection, so you can't blame them for more than ignorance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyd_Rice

Yeah, it's just a generic 'be good' message given to kids, to not forget their mothers when they leave home and go off into the big bad world (or fall out of paradise and end up working in a convenience store)

Brite Lites is fantastic, like every other song on AKA.

I've thought that myself, and especially because she references the 'Why' that is the first thing she sings on her first (major label) release. It's possible she's talking to/about 2011 era Lana, before she became aware of what fame would actually look like (which she also talks about elsewhere in the record much more cynically/knowingly). -
I remember reading that she'd pitched in money, but it's super exciting that she's going to have a song in the movie. It's a great choice of song as well. I especially can't wait for the hipsters to lose their shit over it again, like they did when Andrea Corr covered the same song (brilliantly, imo).

As much as I agree that Gram's 2 solo records, and two records with the Flying Burrito Brothers are essential, and will improve everybody's lives, this is really stretching a bit far. Drug Store Truck Driving Man is a great song, but couldn't be further from the concept of Ride. As for the 'birds at night' idea - Lana will always value the 'story' or the poetry way above scientific reality.

There's nothing in the video that requires being synced up perfectly with the finished track, just like there are parts of the MTWBT video that was shot ages ago. The 'tired' photo could have been from a last minute remix (which could have been for any song) to some final overdubs. Calling her a liar because she worked on finishing other songs after she finished recording HBTB is not only holding her to a ridiculous (and tedious) standard of truth, it's also misunderstanding how records are created these days.

It is cute of them to reference the Robert Frost poem, but I really hope this (ie fake accounts) is not going to become the latest hot trend, following in the footsteps of scat pictures and fake leaks.

Why would it be real?

Is this google translated from another language?

I just want Lana to keep releasing music, sounding like whatever she wants it to sound like, because there's a good chance I'm going to love it regardless.

Azealia Banks Not Okay With Gay Men Using the Word 'Bitch'
longtimeman replied to PARADIXO's topic in Music
Well, she wrote about whites being lizard people and linked to David Icke (who is more often quote by white supremacists, but if you want to hurl that sort of idea, you can't be too choosy who you're quoting). And I'm pretty sure that the fact my particular brand of whiteness hasn't saved my ancestors from centuries of genocide isn't going to give her any reason to pause when lumping me in with the cross burners. At least she's an incredible performer -

That's great and unbelievable, as if it wasn't for me spending all my time here, and other than a single review I saw in the Herald Sun, I wouldn't even have known the record was out.
