If she truly cared about BLM, then Sean being a cop AND his public support of an opposing movement - a movement that actively harms POC - would be a dealbreaker for her. He is firmly on the opposing side because if you're not with BLM, you're against it. 
 
Even if they are only friends, it's still disappointing. 

Man... Havent seen you here until few days ago, so assuming you are a new user (excuse me if you are not; excuse me too if you arent a man, as I dont know). This forum is characterised by people talking in a mostly funny way, exchanging views about a lot of things (which includes joking about Lana's dates too, as her romantic relationships are maybe the central factor her artistic output levitates towards). Try to not take things here that seriously or feel them as an offense, as that's actually not the general vibe or the intentions of people here. When real offenses or damaging comments happen (to Lana or to anyone around), its always highlighted and censored usually by most of us. So truly, maybe the experience will be better for you if you loose yourself a bit. Hope its being a nice one already, anyway!

lana is a rich white woman who "sends positive vibes" to racial injustice movements then goes and dates someone from the establishment that perpetuates racial injustice.

Stop hiding behind the "I know cars" shtick. You don't. Jack has a 68 cadillac and Sean has a 64 cadillac (both devilles). You clearly do not know cars. I made this thing on Photoshop and I'm gonna link the image here. Please disprove this.

I don't think it's Jack's; the car in the video has the same interior lining as Sean's, not Jack's. If you watch the video closely, even the steering wheel is the same as Sean's (white at the top and black at the bottom).
 
It's not impossible that it was Jack's, but Lana was in Tulsa and was seen having dinner with Sean.
 
In any case, it's possible they are just friends, but as I said - given "Tulsa Jesus Freak", I think it's more likely that she is still dating him and that the caption is a "I don't give a fuck what anything thinks" message.
 
Whatever, though. If she doesn't give a fuck about the fact that befriending/dating a Blue Lives Matter cop makes her "support" of Black Lives Matter seem performative, then I'm at a loss.

I personally think she was in Tulsa, had dinner with Sean, that's his car, and "Tulsa Jesus Freak" is a "fuck you" caption/song/poem (pick one) to everyone who criticises her for dating him and/or going to church. 
 
Whether or not they are together remains to be seen, but if so, I hope he's worth it because Seana 2.0 will likely be damaging for several reasons.

at the end of the day i don't really care, it just makes me cringe a little bit seeing her continually fall for such losers. 

i think lana's question for the culture video really summed up how she feels going forward in her career and her own life, she's gonna wear her flannel a certain style, date/be friends with whoever she wants and write about whatever she wants and she's not gonna apologize for it

not saying i support everything she does exactly but just what i've observed

IMO, to an extent Grimes must agree with, or at least turn a blind eye to, Elon's bullshit. For me, it's the same deal as with Lana: I still like her music, but it affects how I perceive her as a person when she dates someone who is obviously of questionable character.
 
An artist's personal beliefs and actions matter a lot to some fans, and not at all to others. I'm somewhere in between. I am not a fan of Sean, but I also know it's unlikely to last, especially because they have already clearly broken up at least once, so

am i the only one who thinks that the song she was playing really doesn't mean anything? she probably was just bopping to it and happened to have someone take a video of her dancing. i think if she wanted to get back at sean she would play a song that was a little more obvious and i don't think "stay high" is that obvious enough.  

people have a right to be upset when she went out and protested for BLM and then continued to date a cop who is openly blue lives matter. it just shows that she never even cared. 

stay high isn't a 'glad you're gone' break up song though.... the lyrics are literally "you're gone and i've gotta stay high all the time to keep you off my mind"
